My sister, best friend, and I met in Key Largo over President's Day weekend, and we spent our time at this lovely house on the beach. The weather was not cooperative, but the house was wonderful. It was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and close to everything. We had great Mexican food at Puerta Vallarta, great seafood at the Fish House, and good Key Lime pie everywhere!

The description was accurate, although bedroom #3 was clearly meant for children, not adults. Regardless, we had plenty of room. The temperatures dipped into the 40s and a frantic call to Lolita at 8 am on Sunday resulted in 3 electric space heaters less than an hour later! Now that's service!

We visited the Bird Sanctuary south of Key Largo two times--it's that good (if you like pelicans, up close and personal!). My sister swam with the dolphins at Dolphin Cove (not the one close to the house, but the location on Corrinne Drive, a little bit south). She had a FANTASTIC experience--I'd highly recommend it if you're so inclined. My BFF and I walked the trails at John Pennekamp--it was too darned windy to do the glass-bottomed boat, but the trails were lovely and the trees were identified. Thank you!

This house is equipped with everything you could ever imagine. It's very clean, and the owner loves it and her guests. Go there!

We enjoyed this house very much and we will try to stay there in we come back to Key Largo. Location is perfect – very close to a grocery store (Publix), local fruit market, restaurants (Fish House!), fresh fish market(Key Largo Fisheries), John Pennekamp state park (snorkeling), and it is right on the private beach. Views from the porch are very nice, sand is great, and water is perfect for a swim. Neighbors are very nice and very helpful. The owner is very friendly, professional and she keeps the property clean and in a very good condition. Booking was very easy :)

We stayed 2 weeks and we loved it. We will be back for sure!

There are not many people or places in this world that are truly designed for families and children in mind, but this cute beach house is! I do not even think the pictures or the description do it justice at all because this is not your typical vacation spot and you will not be dealing with a tyical person. Before I begin the actual review of the house, I would like to say thank you to Lolita, the owner. She has made this house so welcoming and speical that you will instantly feel your stress melt away as soon as you walk in. I am a busy mom of small children and Lolita knew this. She had left stuff for us to make pb and j sandwiches for when we arrived. After a 14 hour drive, the little extra thoughtfulness was like "wow!". Not only that, she has thought of everything...and I do mean everything....that you could ever possibly want or need at a beach house. For instance, there were sand toys and floats and chairs....All we really needed was a swimsuit but I have a feeling if we have forgotten that the local villagers wouldn't have cared. That is the other thing...the neighbors. From what I could tell, most of them were weekenders that have this love and passion for the Keys. The people in the village were so nice that as we adults were enjoying the awesome screened porch, we would often see them take our kids things to drink and popcicles and let their children play with ours. One lady was even helping them fish! It was like they enjoyed us being there which only added to the serenity of it all. Take things like that and the fact that manatee and dolphins swam right up to us, you really don't need much else in life. The house itself is so charming and clean and very well stocked. There are so many extras like a nice grill, extra fridge on the porch, games, books, plenty of towels....everything. It is also very close to a produce stand and grocery store. On Lolita's suggestion, we ate at The Fish House and we are still talking about how wonderful it was! That is a must! This is a house that is very much loved and taken care of. The outside shower is perfect for squirting down kids and they loved showering outside. We also were able to bring our boat and that worked out great. The beach is nice and the snorkeling was great. There is also a nice designated swim area. There is a nice village boat ramp that is easy to use. There is a warning if you stay here, though: All you will want to do is go back sooner than later.
