Rent an adorable 2 bedroom/ 1 1/2 bath vacation rental in the heart of Capitola-Village-By-the-Sea, named by Sunset Magazine in March 2009 as one of the 'best small beach towns in California' and 'among the top 20 small towns in the west'. This tastefully updated decorated fully furnished two-story vacation rental duplex is available for both short and long term rentals.
The vacation rental is just steps to many boutiques, galleries, fine dining and casual restaurants, nightlife with live entertainment and, of course, the beach! You can walk to everywhere in the village.
Unit B Winter Rates: Available May 1, 2015 through mid June with ALL utilities except PG&E included at $2000 per month.
Unit B Summer Rates: June 15th to end of September: Only $1700 per week, plus taxes and cleaning fee. Inquire for deposit details.

-Hardwood floors everywhere with the exception of tile in the bathrooms.
-Master bedroom and full bath on upper level.....2nd bedroom and 1/2 bath on lower level. Master bath with shower over tub and tiled floors, granite counters.
-Includes washer/dryer shared with other unit in separate laundry room.
-Home is equipped for your entertainment with a TV in each room.

We just love Capitola Village and have been coming here for years. We live about an hour away from Capitola just became owners of the property in October 2011. We have been renting through VRBO for years and are so excited to be renting our place on VRBO now.

We chose Capitola Village because of the beautiful beach, the adorable shops, great dining, wine shops, etc. We love parking our car and not moving it all weekend. Capitola Village has so many great family activities such as the Begonia Festical, Surfin Santa, Wine Festivals, etc.
Love that the condo is so bright and homey. Love that there is a tv with cable with every room and sleeps 8. The condo is just steps the the beach. LOVE that has a garage and laundry with a carport as well. Parking is hard in Capitola Village.
Our family rented both units A&B, it was perfect. One side for family with children, and the other side without. We had wonderful meals in both units or simply walked downtown. Both sides are fully stocked and very comfortable. When you rent both units at the same time it increases parking to 5 spaces! So important in Capitola. We were able to store boogie boards and kayaks safely in the garage. We are looking forward to renting again this winter.
Our stay was great, our family had a great time, the place was very Comfortable and clean.
Just spent three PERFECT days with our kids and grandparents in Capitola, and this unit was perfect for us! The location could not have been any better...we walked everywhere, all weekend. The owners were a joy to work with, the unit was well-stocked and nicely furnished, and having parking was KEY in the village! Capitola is a wonderfully clean, family-friendly little beach town, and we look forward to returning many times to create more amazing memories with our family!
The place was perfectly located and clean! I went with my 86 yr. old mother and it was no problem for her to walk the short distance to the shops/restaurants and beach. I also had my two kids that really enjoyed the short distance! I loved having a garage as well! I noticed in the picture there is an area rug..there wasn't one. That might have been nice, since day one the floor was a bit slippery for my little one. I also read reviews before going and I like the suggestion to write up something that tells the guests what stations are on what channels. I definitely made a great choice and would go again!
My family has stayed here for three different vacations. the ages of my kids started when they were youngest was 5 middle was 9 oldest was 13. This last stay there ages were 20, 24 and 29. I have been staying in the village for the past 27 years. I believe this unit is by far the best one we have stayed in. the unit was clean and modern, I would recommend this property to my friends and family. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.
We had the BEST time at your vacation rental! LOVED everything including the amazing location right in the heart of Capitola Village. The property was spotless and very well maintained. We loved the beach decor. Everything was just perfect. Having garage parking was a definite plus because parking in the village is not easy. The owners were super friendly and responsive with all of our interactions. We will DEFINITELY be renting this rental again and highly recommend this unit to our friends and family.
The property itself is very nice. A few ammenities I would work on: New cookware for the kitchen. The cookware was very old and not in good condition. Casserole dishes would be helpful. More towels available, especially if guests have rented for more than one week. One towel per person and then expecting the guest to wash the towels when they wanted clean ones was unacceptable for the price paid. I believe that paper products should be supplied. When you travel across the country you do not want to buy toilet paper, paper towels, bar soap, or coffee filters. We had no extra gargage bags or toilet paper in our unit, nor did we have an iron, though the owner happened to be in town and supplied one for us. Other suggestions: a list of TV channels, a coffee scoop, a laundry basket, placemats, potholders. Laundry roon is not accessible when a vehicle is parked in the carport - it would be helpful to leave space to open the laundry room door. The property appeared clean, however the floors seemed to be dirty when you were in stocking feet - perhaps this is something the cleaning service is not being attentive to. Capitola is a lovely little community and I love the location of this property. My suggestions are not sent in frustration, only as suggestions as to how to make the property more ammenable.
