Rent an adorable 2 bedroom/1 1/2 bath vacation rental in the heart of Capitola-Village-By-the-Sea, named by Sunset Magazine in March 2009 as one of the 'best small beach towns in California' and 'among the top 20 small towns in the west'. This tastefully updated decorated fully furnished two-story vacation rental duplex is available for both short and long term rentals.
The vacation rental is just steps to many boutiques, galleries, fine dining and casual restaurants, nightlife with live entertainment and, of course, the beach! You can walk to everywhere in the village.
Available starting mid February for short term stays. 3 night rental required. $250 per night Sunday-Thursday, Friday and Saturday $275 per night. Holiday rates may be higher.
AVAILABLE LONG TERM: $2100 per month. Must be 3 months or longer. Available starting February 17, 2015 to May 22, 2015 or possibly until mid-June! Most utilities included. Rental agreement has all details.
Unit A Summer Rates: June to Sept. 15, 2015: Only $1800 per week, plus taxes and cleaning fee. Inquire for deposit details.

We just love Capitola Village and have been coming here for years. We live about an hour away from Capitola just became owners of the property in October 2011. We have been renting through VRBO for years and are so excited to be renting our place on VRBO now.

We chose Capitola Village because of the beautiful beach, the adorable shops, great dining, wine shops, etc. We love parking our car and not moving it all weekend. Capitola Village has so many great family activities such as the Begonia Festical, Surfin Santa, Wine Festivals, etc.
Love that the condo is so bright and homey. Love that there is a tv with cable with every room and sleeps 8. The condo is just steps the the beach. LOVE that has a garage and laundry with a carport as well. Parking is hard in Capitola Village so the parking is a big plus.
This place is AMAZING!!! Owner responded to questions promptly! The location of this unit is in perfect location... Close to shops, restaurants, coffee shop, ice cream and super close walking distance to the beach. Only 5-6 miles to Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Took 4 12yrs old girls and they had a blast!!! The place is super clean and has everything you need including kitchen stuff to cook (if you want). Has lots of towels and blankets. The 4 girls stayed in the bedroom with 2-dbl beds downstair which is perfect (when you want quiet time) they have their own restroom. The master bedroom is perfect. I just found my favorite place to stay in Capitola! Thank you so much to the owner! Everything is PERFECT!
GREAT LOCATION. EASY ACCESS TO THE BEACH. CLEAN, MODERN, LOVELY ACCOMADATIONS. WOULD REPEAT MY RETREAT TO THIS LOCATION. I'M A TRAVEL NURSE AND THIS SITE REALLY FIT THE BILL.
The unit on Cherry Avenue, Capitola Ca. was perfect in every way. The unit was exceptionally clean and well equipped for a beach rental. The property owner provided a handy notebook that described the details of the rental. No questions were left unanswered. We loved walking the short distance to the beach and shopping in the unique village stores. The restaurants are delightful with: live music, reasonable prices, great service, and a wonderful array of delicious food to please ANYONE. The rental is a short drive to Santa Cruz or the Monterey Bay area. We will definitely return to this attractive rental in the months ahead.
We stay in Capitola every year and this property is by far my favorite! It is in a great location and is updated, clean, and tastefully decorated. It was perfect for my family of 4, though it could accommodate more. The owners were friendly and made renting the property easy. We would definitely stay here again.
We lived in Capitola for a long time while our daughters were young and we spent a lot of time at the beach. We really loved it so we rented, for the first time, a beach house in the village about two block from the ocean. Our daughters came along, as did their two young children. My older mother came too, and got the best room for a couple of days, but that's as it should be. The two story property was very nice and well maintained. It was also pretty much baby-proofed, too. The kitchen is a little small but we managed to churn out large quantities of food. We also used the electric grill on the balcony a couple of nights with some success. The kitchen was adequately stocked with utensils and we brought way too much from home. With little kids we generally had an excursion every morning followed by naptime, lunch and a trip to the beach. One of our excursions was a trip to the Santa Crus City Natural History Museum. It features a marine touch tank that is a lot less crowded than the Aquarium's. We also went to the weekday farmer's market in Santa Ccrus. Great selection and nice people. Following the afternoon trip to the beach the kids came home and went straight into the tub followed by a second nap before dinner. The property is very comfortable although a tad noisy from the street but that is to be expected during high summer in the Village. We switched cars around a bit and even left a couple of them in the City lot for the duration, which, at $6 a day, is a bargain. It's also nice to have the keyless entry. Very convenient. We plan to go back.
Our family rented both units A&B, it was perfect. One side for family with children, and the other side without. We had wonderful meals in both units or simply walked downtown. Both sides are fully stocked and very comfortable.
When you rent both units at the same time it increases parking to 5 spaces! So important in Capitola. We were able to store boogie boards and kayaks safely in the garage. We are looking forward to renting again this winter.

Please inquire for monthly rates. We do weekly June through mid-September and monthly Sept. to end of May. Ideally, we prefer having one renter for entire time.
