Historic home renovated soup to nuts by designer. Exquiste detailing includes limestone kitchen floor, restored 18th c. wood panelling, state of the art new bathrooms, designer fabrics and furniture.

'Tiger LIly' is situated on rural Lily Street but still in the heart of town....close to all major restaurants, museums, library, movie theatre food shopping and boutiques on Main Street. 10 minute bicycle ride to famous Steps Beach. Off street parking for two cars. Gorgeous private garden with access to kitchen through french doors. Sub Zero frig, Bertazzoni range, Bosch dishwasher, microwave, large Franke sink. Bosch washer and dryer are conveniently located in kitchen behind two custom panelled doors.

The master bedroom has a king bed with an en suite bathroom, dressing area and flat screen TV. The queen bedroom is also en suite with a flat screen TV. There is a single bedroom with an en suite full bath. The fourth bedroom shares a bath with the queen bedroom. All three full baths are spanking new with bright beautiful tiles and tastefully coordinated with polish nickel chrome.

This is a wonderful house to spend time with your family or a couple's retreat. The TV room is conveniently located off the kitchen creating a nice relation beween chef and TV watchers. After a day at the beach park your car in the driveway, walk up the stone stairs through the beautiful private garden and either shower off in a unique outside shower, grab a drink and enjoy the afternoon sun on the patio or start cooking in your gormet style kitchen. Cook your meals outside on the gas weber grill or inside on the Bertazzoni range. After dinner curl up on the long comfortable sofa and enjoy either the Bose system or watch a flic or TV show. Beyond the TV room is a more formal but relaxing living room drenched in afternoon sunshine. Off the dining room is a unique office with access to the garden with computer and daybed.

About The Owner

I am an interior designer and have lived abroad for a large portion of my adult life. 'TigerLily' has been in my family since 1860. It was my great grandmother's house, my great aunt's and then my mother's. We all loved art and living well.

The Owner purchased this house in 2005

This is the second renovation I have done on Nantucket the first one being in Sconset.

Rare renovated Nantucket Beauty!

We rented this fabulous house for Christmas Stroll weekend and loved it! We are three couples who have been to the island many times and this is definitely one of the best houses we've stayed in! The location is perfect if you are looking to be in town, a very short walk, just at the end of the street is American Seasons! The kitchen is gorgeous and spacious and the sitting room cozy with a fireplace perfect for Stroll weekend. The bedrooms were all extremely comfortable (great linens, etc.) and the three nicely renovated bathrooms upstairs meant we each had our own! There is a half bath downstairs as well and an outdoor shower for the summer! The patio and yard are great as well and we look forward to coming back this summer!!
