This stately lakefront home is situated on a large, beautiful lot which sits about 30 feet above Lake Erie. There are several levels of decks from which you may relax and enjoy being on the water or take in waterfront activities along the beach. We are located in a quiet residential area at the furthest end of the strip. You can easily walk to the many attractions or restaurants on the strip or just simply hang out and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of this lovely home. This is a non-smoking residence.

Geneva-on-the-lake Strip:: This is a fun, tourist town that comes alive in the summer time. There are many cottages woven throughout the Geneva-on-the-Lake community along with The Lodge for resort lodging and a fabulous dining experience at the restaurant on sight; there is an RV park around the corner, and Geneva State Park & Marina about 1/4 mile from the beginning of the strip. These surroundings make for thriving tourist offerings such as restaurants, bars, charter fishing, water activities, shopping, night clubs, putt putt, a water park, and much more.

Geneva State Park & Marina:: Where the lake meets the land; mature woods and a freshwater marsh create the landscape of Geneva State Park , an ideal environment for exploration and play. The marina features ample boat docks with 407 slips and transient docking. A six-lane boat ramp gives you plenty of room to head out into the wild blue yonder. Charter a fishing boat to experience the “walleye capital of the world.” Pick up bait and tackle supplies, fishing licenses, boat accessories, apparel and souvenirs or enjoy the convenience of the fish cleaning services. Full-service boat repair is also available, along with a fueling station and boat and trailer storage to safely store your pride and joy until the next season. Stop by the deli and canteen to stock up on picnic supplies or grab thirst quenching beverages, juicy hamburgers, ready-to-eat sandwiches, tasty snacks and ice cream after a day on the lake.

Seasonal Rental Period: Our season for rentals runs May 1 through October 31.

We are located in a summer, resort town right on Lake Erie and in Ashtabula County. Our strip is about a mile long and is full of eateries, boutiques, antique shops, dancing, outdoor pubs, local winery, nightclubs, arcades, donut shops, coffee houses, putt putt, water park, township park, and convention center. The Geneva State Park Marina is located just about 1/4 mile away from the strip. You will also find camping close by.

  • 2013 Summer Rates June 1 through September 30:
    $1,350 per 1 week (7 days)
    $1,950 per 2 weeks (14 days)
    $3,200 per month (30 days)

    There is a 5% tax on top plus another 3% if renting less than 30 days. The cleaning fee is $150.00.
    For weekly rentals there is a $250.00 refundable security deposit that is returned upon inspection and assessment of the condition that our home is left in.

    There is a $1,000.00 refundable security deposit and $300.00 cleaning charge for monthly rentals.

Would love to come back

I love to come to Geneva on the Lake every summer, but never did much planning, so I would end up with last minute, overpriced, dirty little cottages year after year. So this year I did my homework and booked this home 8 months in advance. I wanted to make sure that I get a clean place and have a private access beach, but very close (like few minutes walking distance) to all the entertainment that Geneva on the Lake has to offer. This was the perfect place.
Upon arrival I was not dissapointed: the home is charming, clean and well stacked with all the amenities. The view of the lake from the back porch was amazing. The best part was to be able to walk down to the beach from the porch without packing for a beach outing.
The owner only mentioned the bathroom on the second floor, but there is another shower and toilet in the basement where the washer and dryer are. It came in very handy when we were all getting ready for an outing.
The owner provided great customer service, I would reccommend this home for everyone.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!

Coming from a family who is used to staying in a rental cottage, this was heaven!! The home is well stocked with sheets and towels. The kitchen has everything you need. We were thoroughly impressed! When we arrived, it was spotless and had a wonderful yard - the best on the street!! Everything was within walking distance. We had a great time and hope to be back next year.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!! Without a doubt, we would recommend this. Now if we could just fix the darned Ohio weather!! ;)
