EXCELLENT! NICEST RESORT WE HAVE STAYED AT! BEAUTIFUL VILLA AND VIEWS!!!

I am so glad I found this VRBO listing. I have never gone through this site before and was a little unsure. We booked it through Andy and he was so helpful from the very start. I immediately got a good feeling that this was a good choice. He gave me so much information and recommendations, even met us at the Rental place to drive us to Maison Princesse. My daughter got sick and we had to come a day later and he was so nice about it and changing his plans to meet us the next day. When we got to the Villa, it was stunning! We were traveling with my 10 year old daughter and she flipped when she saw the pool and the entire veranda is huge and beautiful. Marie, the manager was so nice, she had the fresh flowers and the fridge stocked with cheeses, wine, water, jam, fruit, ham and more. We had a full kitchen with all amentities. My husband loved the Espresso Maker and even the Flavored Coffee Pods were included. The downstairs was an open concept so we had a nice sitting area and huge glass doors that overlooked the Anse Marcel Bay. Truly gorgeous view. Upstairs, we enjoyed a King Bed and Marie got a cot for my daughter, too. The bathroom was seperate and had a walk in closet perfect for luggage and quick unpacking of our clothes. There is a seperate shower with a window overlooking the bay, a seperate bathroom, and a large room with double sink and lots of space for all your toiletries. The balcony was also fantastic and had a couch and chairs and was huge. My daughter liked it so much she slept out there one night. Tony the owner was very gracious and we ate at his terrific restaurant DaTony right down the road. The place is very upscale with a french feel, but eclectic, with many unique pieces that made it feel like you really were at a Grand Villa! Really relaxing and Gorgeous! Highly Recommend, even better then the photos. I would recommend renting a car and buying a cell phone at the local store. Travelling around the island is easy, but you are up in the hills, so have a driver who is comfortable with that. All around such nice and gracious people and a beautiful villa and lovely island. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you everyone for making our trip so nice.

Amazing Place!

My fiancé and I had such a wonderful time. The villa is everything one could possibly need when visiting St. Maarten. It is in a perfect location to all the best beaches and dining spots! We were truly blown away by the hosts amazing and inviting personality! We were surprised at how larger the villa is, the pictures do not give it justice. We highly recommend this spot for anyone and everyone looking for a fully equipped villa rental including hotel quality amenities and a great host!

Extraordinary stay!

We booked last minute for a work trip for my wife, and this villa was miraculously available due to a mix-up because their VRBO email had been hacked (MAKE SURE you are dealing with Andy in your correspondence!!), and what a blessing that turned out to be for us!

First of all, Andy could not have been more helpful and friendly. He personally guided me to the villa from the airport, no small chunk of time out of his day. He had wonderful recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and attractions. He was the perfect liaison between us and the owners, Joelle and Tony, since sadly we speak not a word of French. (Wait, 'liaison' is maybe French?) He generally went way above and beyond his duties to make sure every aspect of our stay was perfect. And it was.

Joelle and Tony, who are wonderful people themselves, have a truly beautiful, one-of-a-kind place. As others have mentioned, the pictures -while gorgeous- don't do it justice. You just can't fully appreciate it until you take in the panoramic view from the pool, or are looking at the beach from your shower (yes, the shower!). Upon arrival, lovely Joelle had stocked the fridge for us, and cheerfully showed me around the villa. She obviously takes great pride in it, and she should. It's dreamy and charming from top to bottom.

Highly recommend for couples. It feels secluded, yet you're just a five to ten minute drive from the best restaurants and beaches St. Martin has to offer. Can't wait to go back!

Wow! Will never stay in a hotel again---this was AMAZING!

My husband and I just returned from a week stay in St. Martin and loved this villa! We were met at the airport by Cathy (lovely) and then followed her to the villa in the beautiful and quiet Anse Marcel--tucked along the mountain with a beautiful view---I can't imagine our stay being any better. The house staff was also terrific--Jennifer who made us breakfast each morning was delightful. The villa is even better in person although it's hard to believe from the great pictures! Such style and grace---a vist to the owner's Italian eating establishment Da Tony's is a must--wow!
We just loved everything about this villa--our first time renting from VRBO--we usually stay at hotels but this was so much better. Pool was terrific--fridge was stocked with welcome goodies and cold Vodka in the fridge:) Beach towels, all the bathroom essentials were available, large walk-in closet and the patio's both upstairs attached to the bedroom and the main patio were incredible. Sliding glass doors that made the main living space feel like you were outdoors----we will go back next year!!

A unique experience in St. Martin

In early December 2012, we stayed for a week in the "Princess" Villa. It was our first visit to St. Martin. The bottom line: our vacation was great.

The house on the top of the owner's Great Villa (15 beautiful rooms!) is much bigger that it appears in the description on the VRBO listing. In facts, it exceeded our expectations. It is spacious, uniquely and tastefully decorated with a great panoramic view of the ocean and the resorts on the shore. We made pictures in the morning, afternoon and evening, and all were breathtaking. And the private pool is such a luxury both to take a short swim on a hot afternoon or to spend leisure time in two beautiful lounge chairs reading books on iPad.

The owners - Joelle and Tony - are most wonderful people. Joelle personally explained all the amenities in the house, and Tony, despite being very busy with the opening his restaurant at the Radisson Resort, responded in person to a minor electrical "issue" that we had during our stay. At the same time - the owners do not impose on you; so you will experience plenty of privacy and will truly enjoy the vacation.

We sincerely believe that it was a struck of luck in finding the house on the VRBO listing. Strongly recommended.
