Perfect house for a family ski vacation
My family spent a wonderful week in March in this beautiful house,which is located within one of the top gated communities in the heart of the Derr Valley ski slopes.My wife and I had my three adult children and their spouses along with my six grandchildren,and we still had empty beds.It was a vacation that my grandchildren will always remember,and this was the ideal house and location for a spring break.The ski in/out arrangement was great,with the slopes immediately accessible from the back porch.The house has every amenity that you could wish for,including a modern,well equipped kitchen,and state-of-the-art audio/television systems throughout the house.There were multiple gas-operated fireplaces,which we used heavily.The hottub was a huge hit,both with the grown-ups and the kids.It is built in the rocks,overlooking the valley,is spacious,and was heavily used by our group.The garages can accomodate three cars are large vans,and the driveway is heated.The manager/caretaker was incredibly competent and helpful,and the owner helped us arrange for a good chef/caterer,who worked closely with us for several excellent dinners.The view from the house is probably as fine as any available in deer valley.Overall,we have only rave reviews for this house.
