SUMMER TIME SPECIAL OFFER FOR JUNE DATES (SEE BELOW DESCRIPTION)

I live in a very small space in Hailey and had 7 friends coming to ski from Portland and Pullman Wa. So
I checked VRBO rentals and chose Michelles' house which suited our group of 8 perfectly! The kitchen was a dream to work in, the open living, kitchen and dining room was quite conducive for socializing and the sleeping areas (including the den) were secluded from the rest of the house. Being a local I know that one does not have to live in Sun Valley to enjoy yourself! The skiing and amenities of Ketchum, Sun Valley and Hailey were an easy drive away, and i think my friends would agree. Additionally this property was quite affordable for our average to modest income group. The beds in the bedrooms were all firm (which we all liked) and the home was very clean and convenient to live in. Generally whether there is an abundance of snow or a scarcity of it the ski mountain makes it own snow and skiing was good, and the nordic skiing all year has been excellent even with january scarcity of snow. Also this place would be great for summer hiking and mountain biking, and fall is the best kept secret here! I would definitely do rent this house again if my group wished to come back!

Listing is accurate; more accurate if the renter (me) would read all the information. There was no cable. Michelle and Duftan are such kind people, without me asking and I would NEVER expect anyone to do this because of my mistake, they saved my hide (it was college football bowl game season and I forgot to book a location with cable access), they had cable installed.

The photos are accurate, the property is clean and maintained and I would more than definately recommend this to family and friends, but to anyone looking for a place to stay. The accommodations are awesome, homey, it is a 15 minute - easy - drive to premier skiing slopes, it is in a quiet, quant town, with services for anything and everything you would need. And, the price is excellent. The service from Michelle and Duftan is like they are your best friends and want you to have they best of times no matter what it takes.

The listing for beds is not completely accurate, there is actually more sleeping arrangements than listed. We had 7 people, 6 adults and 1 12 year old and everyone had a comfortable spot to sleep - most with their own private areas. A couple was in the master bedroom on a queen bed, an adult in a room with a queen bed, single adult and child on floor with futon mattress in a room, adult boys were on (what they called, the most comfortable couches they had slept on - they are college student's and actually sleep on alot of couches) each in a room of their own.

My husband, the cook, thought, he was in heaven with the cookware and kitchen.

With 7 people, we never felt crowded, stepping over or bumping into each other. This house is bright and roomy. There was plenty of parking and the town, appeared, to be within walking distance; after a full day of skiing, we just hung out at the house.

I would highly recommend this house to anyone.
