We both grew up in Maine and have always dreamed of owning our own lake house. We chose Moose Pond lake because it is a true four season getaway. In the summer, we can swim and boat in its sparkling clean water right in our own back yard and use the hiking trails just a short walk out our front yard. In the winter, we can walk to ski at Shawnee Peak. We also love the proximity to the White Mountains region of NH. In a nutshell, we are able to get away from it all here or be just a short drive to anything we want or need all year round.
Thanks to Chirstine and family for a great week in Bridgton. The home is extremely comfortable and provides all amenities. We had tons of space and the house is very well equipped. The view is amazing and we enjoyed being so close to skiing and North Conway. Excellent location. It was a great week. Thank you!
The house was everything we could of hoped for. It is extremely spacious, lots of seating for everyone. The downstairs game room was a huge hit with the teenagers and young adults, and my grandkids loved the chalk wall. The deck had plenty of seating and room for the entire family. The grill worked perfectly. If your lucky enough to wake early you will be treated to an amazing sunrise. The sun rises over the mountains on the opposite side of the lake, a perfect way to enjoy your morning coffee. The sandy beach was fabulous, my grandkids loved it. Fishing was good, though we did not explore the entire lake. Some boat traffic, but nothing that was annoying. Shopping was close, so no long drives to get groceries, main street is quaint with some interesting stores. The house was extremely clean and had all the appliances you needed. Overall we had an absolutely amazing time and I would recommend this house to anyone.
We loved our week on Moose Pond! This rental is beautiful! The entire house is very clean and well appointed. There are three separate sleeping areas which were wonderful as everyone had their own space and privacy. The back deck is spacious and looks out on to the lake. We spent most of our time here,...why go anywhere else to eat!. We ate all our meals out on the deck which has plenty of seating. We especially liked the fact that the kitchen pantry closet, the bedroom closets and all the bureaus were empty which provided us plenty of space to store our belongings. We would definitely stay here again!!
Our stay at this beautiful home couldnt have been better. It was perfect for my two kids 5 and 3..and for us aswell. The owners were more than helpful. Prompt on replying to any questions I had. After day 2 we discussed what week we wanted to rent the same place next year. You cant go wrong with this home.
My extended family and I enjoyed a wonderful week in Bridgton. The home is beautiful - well maintained, clean and plenty of room. The design is great for extended families with three separate sleeping areas. The lake is small and quiet but certainly plenty of room for any boating activities with Long Lake and Sebago just minutes away as well. Having the bonus of a game room was wonderful on the couple of grayer days in our week. Shopping was fun in Bridgton and Naples. Try Rick's Cafe in Naples on the Causeway - delicious. We look forward to going back again next year.
This home was spectacular. There was ample room for all of our family and everyone was very comfortable in their rooms for the overnights. The basement "Game" room was the hangout for the young adults as they played pool, darts and fuseball all night long. The deck overlooking the lake was a great perch to relax on and enjoy our company of family and friends. The real jewel of the location was the beach, lake and swim raft. We had a 7, 13, two 18's, 20, 22 and the over 50 crowd. Everyone was in the water all day everyday. I would highly recommend this home for anyone with a large family looking to kick back and relax. Aside from getting groceries and a round of golf, we never left the property.
