3 Moms, 5 Kids, 1 Amazing Vacation!

We had an amazing stay at Casa Azul. The house was perfect for all of us. We were 3 moms travelling with our 5 kids, ages 7,6,5, and two 1.5 year olds. The house was more then set up for the kids, we didn't have to bring anything kid-related with us-all the toys, pool toys, beds, etc were there. Mike, the house manager, was very helpful. Among other things, he hooked us up with a family of fantastic babysitters and we utilize those lovely girls nearly everyday for a few hours so we could go surfing. The gardener was very approachable and kind and he, too, was very helpful with offering us local knowledge. On our first day Mike kindly took me around the town and showed me where everything was from the grocery store to the fish market, this was extremely helpful and we really appreciated all the time he took to take care of us. Jeanie was also amazing. She always responded promptly to my emails and gave me thoughtful responses to my questions. The house was even better then the photos, it was clean, well looked after, the kitchen was stocked with everything we could need and the beds were very comfortable. The house is on top of a very large hill, at first we saw this as quite a challenge with all our kids. In the end we loved the location. So tranquil, so relaxing. We had no problem renting a car from an awesome, friendly, considerate local guy who gave us a great rate. We were stoked to have the car!! It aloud us to drive to the markets in La Libertad, check out other surf breaks, head in and out of town easily with the kids. Every outing was an adventure with our crew and we soon were well known in El Tunco....
I could go on and on. We stayed 18 days and didn't want to leave. The surf was beyond good, the local people extremely friendly, the house absolutely fantastic. We all loved El Salvador. I highly recommend Casa Azul, I know I will be back...the only thing I missed was my hubby! Thank you Jeanie! Thank you Mike!
