4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths. Sleeps 9.

Wonderful Victorian three flat that was converted to a single family home. 3 levels of living space. Large back yard with deck. The first floor living room has a gas fireplace with hardwood floors. Enjoy the two sided fireplace in the dining/kitchen area also. The second and third floors have 2 bedrooms and one bath on each level. Each rear bedroom has a large balcony. Laundry is on the lower level.

This house has lots of rental options: rent one to four bedrooms or the whole house. It is not a condo!! It is a house. If renting rooms, owner will remain on the premise (owner is an avid traveler and will be able to direct you to see the hotspots in Chicago, owner is a trained docent for the Chicago Architecture Foundation and loves to help travelers enjoy Chicago!) Best option is to rent the entire third floor which gives you privacy with 2 bedrooms and an adjoining bath to share. Wonderful balcony off of rear bedroom. Private entrance off the rear balcony. Use of kitchen and living areas too.

Perfect neighborhood location in Chicago's East Lakeview area. Only 3 blocks to Lake Michigan and Lincoln Park. Fabulous restaurants abound, no need to drive or take a taxi to eat the best food in Chicago. Nearby restaurants include Yoshis, Mia Francesca's, Socca, Leona's, HB Bistro, Ann Sathers, Jimmy Johns, Starbucks, Caribou Coffee, Jamba Juice, Potbelly's, and many more! Every type of cuisine is within walking distance. Also, walk to Wrigley Field to see the Cubs play or take in a concert. Public transportation is super efficient in this area- buses within a few steps and the L train is only 2 blocks away. Walk to see Blue Man Group too as only 2 blocks away. Nightlife is plentiful. Lots of bars and pub as you get closer to Wrigley Field. Or enjoy a quiet dinner on the rear deck.

Lovely in Lakeview

An absolutely beautiful home. Spacious bedrooms, pleasant gathering spaces indoors and out, and a kitchen replete with all necessary utencils. A plethora of entertainment and dining choices were within walking distance. We attended the IO comedy club just blocks away. It was wonderful! The owner is delightful and quite accomodating. This property is highly recommended!

I question whether I will even bother staying at a hotel in Chicago anymore. This was by far the most invitating, quaint house I have ever stayed in.

FIrst and foremost, Donna--the owner--was extremely accommodating and flexible, her hospitality unmatched by none. She even surprised us with parking permits upon our arrival and had cleared out the refridgerator in anticipation for our abundance of adult beverages for the weekend. She really had thought of everything.

The house itself was impeccable. It was clean and spacious, with sophisticated, yet playfully quirky decor. (Perfectly matched with Donna's fun and engaging personality.) And the LOCATION---Couldn't. Be. Beat. We were just a block from the bustling streets of Boystown, where we spent most of our time. And as we all can agree, after a long night out at the bars, the last thing we want to do is walk a long way back to the hotel or have a cab driver take us the "senic route."

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay (so I'll shut up now). We will be telling all of our friends and will definitely be repeat customers.

Great, great location – easy access to the train to get downtown, and you can walk to Wrigly, or the lakefront is less than a mile. We were there over a big Cubs weekend against the Cardinals and it was far enough away to not be amidst the Wrigly sports bar scene. Really comfortable beds, and clean bathrooms/linens. We had a big group, and there was lots of room to spread out. The full-sized kitchen and fridge had everything we needed to make a meal, plus a great backyard porch to enjoy a drink outside!

Girls trip!

Donna was great! The house was clean and property was well maintained. It was a VERY hot weekend in Chicago and she even had her air conditioner checked prior to her departure to ensure a comfortable temperature for us for the weekend. The customer service was excellent. You CANNOT beat the location. We went to a cubs game, great restaurants, and the El is close enough to walk to, but far enough that you don't hear it. The lakefront is a quick walk away too. I highly suggest this house for anyone visiting chicago. Much better than a hotel! Thank you Donna!!
