Less than a mile from the Historic Village of Trinidad, this elegant home is on four acres and at the end of a private road. It is snuggled into a mature redwood forest, with plenty of sun exposure. Quiet, except for the occasional sound of seals in the distance, and songs of chickadees, winter wrens and Douglas squirrels; this is truly a retreat. This wood-sided home has an outside hot tub on a private deck adjacent to the upstairs bedroom. The spacious front patio has a fire pit for those who love to spend their evenings out. There is a ping-pong table in the garage. For the lawn there are croquet and bocce ball.

Why Larry and Donna Ulrich chose Trinidad
There is a year-round creek on the property, and we have always loved living near water. When we discovered that McConnahas Creek with its natural waterfalls was on the parcel that sealed the deal.
What makes this house unique
Peaceful tranquility in a natural setting for relaxing and entertaining family and friends. It is an easy walk into Trinidad where there is a museum, grocery, Post Office, wine tasting at Moonstone Winery and more beaches than you can visit in a week.
Guestbook comments from the owner
Our stay at Raven Ridge left a lasting impression on our family. We were enchanted by the grounds as well as the surrounding woodlands. The home itself is everything it appears to be and more. You can feel the attention and love that went into creating it. We truly felt like we were on vacation. It was the perfect nest to come back to after exploring the area, hiking, and beach combing. Some of the most magical places we will ever see are very nearby. Our children did not want to leave, nor did we. This is the first VRBO place we have stayed that not only lived up to it's description, but exceeded it. We have every intention of returning one day.
