About Doug Callahan
My wife and I are both teachers in Gwinnett County, Georgia. We have two beautiful girls (ages 9 & 8). We love to travel when whenever we have the chance, but also enjoy relaxing in our beach condo. We are excited about sharing that 2nd home with you.
Doug Callahan purchased this condo in 2011
Why Doug Callahan chose Sunset Beach
We traveled to Sunset Beach for an anniversary trip and fell in love with the area. The beaches are pristene and not over-built like in many other areas. The people are nice and helpful. The restaurants and shopping still have a very local feel which is refreshing. We decided to purchase a family get-away home in 2011 after many years of looking and dreaming. We hope you enjoy our small piece of paradise as much as we do! This is our version of 'Paradise Falls' from 'Up- the Movie'. We didn't want to wait until 'someday' to make the dream of owning a family beach get-away a reality.
What makes this condo unique
We love the fact that we are literally minutes from the beach. We can take a morning walk or a sunset stroll, or easily go back and forth from the beach to the condo for lunch, naps etc. Being so close with easy parking in both places means the convenience of a family beach trip is that much easier.
Guestbook comments from the owner
Thank you for this amazing place for us to stay. We enjoyed our vacation, and the views from the balcony. The condo was clean and comfortable for our family. We were able to see one alligator and one pelican fishing for breakfast. Thank you for making our vacation relaxing and enjoyable. We are looking forward to coming back soon.
