Welcome to our warm and comfortable log cabin townhome at the bottom of The Canyons Resort. Awesome runs, fantastic powder, 4000 acres of ski-able terrain on nine mountains. And now, owned by Vail Resorts! The Canyons has the best backcountry and off-piste terrain in the area and is the largest ski/snowboard resort in Utah. As a result, it never has lines like Park City. This is the resort of choice for locals, and the Cabriolet (open air people-mover) is only a short walk away.

It is also a 10-minute drive from Park City Mountain Resort; 15 from Deer Valley (no snowboarders allowed at DV!), and is on the free bus route.

The Canyons Golf Course is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2014. We are just beyond the trees of the 16th hole.

Great dining and shopping are less than 10 minutes in either direction -- Old Town in Park City or the newer family-oriented Kimball Junction and Tanger Outlets just off I-80. A two-minute drive gets you to the Canyons Village or the Waldorf Astoria.

Our townhome has two spacious master bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and TVs. Each room has a private, full jacuzzi bathroom. The master has a king bed and a 42' flat panel TV with a Roku device; the other has one queen and one twin bed with a 32' flat panel TV.

You'll find a gas fireplace downstairs in front of a comfy leather couch that makes into a queen bed. There is a huge honkin' 50' flat panel TV in the family room, and you can use it to access Pandora, Netflix, Vudu, Facebook, YouTube and a bunch of other apps. There is also a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Espresso lovers will appreciate the Ascaso espresso maker.

Free broadband WiFi is included (though there is no phone service.)

The unit has underground parking for one with a private entrance from the garage. There are additional parking spaces outside.

Two large shared hot tubs are right outside the front door.

This townhome has beds for seven.

This is not just a rental unit for us; it's our second home. We use it often and have taken care to appoint it and stock it for comfort and ease. Our goal is for you to feel right at home on your off-off-piste days so that you'll make our townhome your favorite place to vacation, year after year.

We're local in Utah and Timber Wolf is our second home, not just a rental for us. We want you to feel welcome, relaxed, and have a great time skiing, boarding or golfing.

We love boarding at The Canyons. It's much bigger and less crowded than Park City and has more varied off-piste terrain. It has wonderful runs for the kids (7 and 8) so there is something for everyone. We also love the changes Talisker is bringing -- a heated quad lift as of 2010 and a challenging 18-hole golf course set to open in 2013. The Waldorf Astoria, with its fine dining and wonderful spa treatments, is a two-minute drive away.

We chose Timber Wolf because there is nothing like being in a warm log cabin while the snow falls outside. But let's face it -- we also feel spoiled there.

GREAT PLACE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION!

We arrived LATE, LATE, LATE night (really early in the morning according to our East coast time) to a very cozy, clean, and well-stocked townhome. Loved the cleanliness of the place, the bedroom lay-out worked great for our 3 children in one room and my husband and I in the other. Great TV's/Netflix for the kiddos when they collapsed after a full day on the slopes. We cooked in every night but one and was never anything I was lacking for in the kitchen. My only negative would be that it was a bit challenging to locate in the dark of night (not that there's anyway to remedy that situation!), and that the upstairs was much too warm even with the heat turned completely off. No big deal. All in all, it was a great place with an owner who was one step ahead of getting us the info we needed well in advance of our arrival. The photos are accurate of the home. I'm not really sure I'd ever attempt a walk to the Cabriolet in full ski gear (especially not with young children); however, it's a 2 minute drive to the parking lot next to the Cabriolet which makes things very easy. Thank you for sharing your home with us! It was very nice and we appreciate your kindness!

GREAT CONDO

We've stayed at many condominiums in the Park City Area -- none were as well stocked as this one. The owners are very gracious -- use anything in the condo, just "...leave as much as you take." Espresso machine, gas fire place, hot tub literally a few steps from the front door and garage parking (tight spaces but doable).

Very convenient to the Canyons. Park City is only a 10 minute drive. We ski the Park City area resorts as well as the Little Cottonwood Canyon and the Big Cottonwood Canyon resorts. We like to dine at the Park City restaurants. This condo was very convenient for what we like to do.

We usually ski the Park City area every year or every other year. We plan to try and stay at this condo again if it is available.

CONVENIENCE

It's not ski-in/ski-out but close. We typically rent away from the village/town to get away from the noise and higher prices, preferring cleaner, newer and roomier rentals. This place fit the bill.

We had plans to hit PC, Canyons, Deer Valley, and Snowbird so Delin's place was perfect. The trick is get to the parking lots just before 9:00AM. For both PC and Canyons, we parked 30 yards from the lift/cabriolet line. I think those staying in the village/town actually walked more from door to lift than we did. Parking at PC main street was surprisingly easy. We always found off street parking on our first pass, even during the weekend and early evening hours.

It was great having a quality kitchen with a gas stove since we preferred cooking in. We were little disappointed with the PC food scene. Except for High West Distillery (went twice - must have the 20oz Bison Rib Eye, worth the $50 - and the Grilled Krispy Kreme Donuts) and Sammy's Bistro (should have gone there twice), the food scene in PC was often too pretentious with unjustified high prices. We actually drove to Salt Lake City to grab a burger at In-n-Out (us East Coasters are cruelly deprived of this delicacy).

We hit the slopes pretty hard so after spending the day in thigh deep double-black power, we typically like to eat, soak in the hot tub and veg in front of the TV with a beer in each of those activities. The tub was only steps away and the 3 large flat screens allowed 3 different vegging options with plenty of channels. As for the beds, my wife actually slept well every night with not single complaint, which is extraordinary for my wife.

Delin is a great owner. She was responsive and really seems to care about her renters. The only complaint is the low bandwidth with WiFi (Delin is addressing this issue), and unfortunately, her book recommended Squatters Roadhouse Grill. If you do go there, just stick to the beer.

Delin's place would easily be our first choice when we return, which we hope wil be soon.

ALL GOOD!

The place was very nice, clean, and comfortable... exactly as the pictures show. To give a frame of reference, we had 5 guys, late 20s, on our annual boys' trip... for us it's all about the skiing. The condo provided a great place to recover and prepare for the next day and it's definitely worth a look for anyone staying in the Canyons area.

What we liked:
- Hot tob is literally right out the front door. There are two of them and they are big. Really enjoyed a long soak each night.
- Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes etc. We cooked every night and never had to improvise because we were missing something needed to cook the meal. The outdoor propane grill works like a charm.
- The owner is very easy to deal with - the transaction was completely easy and hassle-free.

You should know:
- It is not an easy walk to the cabriolet. It is slightly uphill and through a snow-covered field. It took us close to 10 minutes with our ski gear. It requires a little bit of mental toughness and those with kids or mother-in-laws may wish to drive around to the parking lot or catch the shuttle from the main road.
- The parking garage is under the condo and is pretty tight. We had a large SUV and it was not a problem, but you might want an extra set of eyes spotting the driver until you get the hang of it.

In sum, we really enjoyed the condo. The place is very nice and I would stay here again.

GREAT CONDO, GREAT OWNERS!

We spent a week at this condo during spring break and absolutely loved it! We felt at home from the minute we walked in. The place is very cozy & comfortable. It was definitely a welcoming home to come back to after a day of skiing! We were very happy to hang out, play games, watch movies. I like to cook and I was pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen so nicely outfitted as far as pots & pans, utensils, serving dishes, and having the cabinets stocked with all the basics (and more) was a plus. It was our first time in Utah and we had lots of questions for the owners prior to getting there. They were extremely helpful and accommodating, and had plenty of suggestions. They could have not been nicer. Thank you!!! We like to explore, ao we skied at Canyons, Deer Valley and Alta, and found the condo's location very convenient. We will definitely be back!
