Breckenridge Peak 7 Cabin Rental Photos and Description
Cabin, 3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 8-12)
My father built this spacious custom A-Frame cabin 35 years ago (when spiral staircases were all the rage!) with the intention of it being the heart of many extended family vacations.....and it has been! This completely furnished and well-equipped cabin will sleep 8 comfortably in beds. There is a roll-away bed as well as a deluxe queen-sized air bed. Built as a self-contained retreat for families, the large rec room in the basement boasts a pool table, ping pong table card table and darts available.
Set on the side of the mountain, the large deck looks out on our forested acreage complete with a beaver dam and views of Peak 7. In the summer the yard boast abundant wildflowers and a great view of the beavers working in our pond! Last winter a family of Moose were spotted right outside the back door.
New linens, goose down comforters and pillows on all beds make for a restful night's sleep before a busy day exploring beautiful downtown Breckenridge or skiing the summit! Just minutes from world-class gondolas, the mountain awaits your arrival!

I am a college professor, my husband designs amusement park rides. This cabin was built by my father and remains my very favorite place in the world!
We have no children, but show Belgian Sheepdogs and Havanese. We love to travel but Breckenridge is our favorite place to be. It is a magical place where we both feel very much at home!
We used to live in Western Kansas and we found ourselves vacationing in the Rocky Mountains every chance we got. We kept coming back to Breckenridge and decided to try to find a lot and build a home. As luck would have it some very good friends of ours had just built a home and told us the lot next door was for sale. We bought it and began building. Literally.....WE....began building. My dad was a builder....a really GOOD one.... and our family built this home with our own hands. It's not the fanciest home on the mountain, but I bet it is the best built!
We have quite a bit of land behind our home as the lot is pie shaped with the small point facing the road. In the summer you can hike around the yard and visit the beaver pond....one of my favorite things to do. Or, you can just sit on the deck and wait patiently to see them.
