*Arguably the best location in Vermont! Only 10 minutes from the highway, a 5 minute drive to the village of Stowe, and 10 more minutes from there to the base of Stowe Mountain - the best mountain on the east coast. 40 minutes to Burlington, 20 minutes to Montpelier, and beautiful landscapes, mountains, rivers, lakes, and wildlife trails surrounding the entire area. Outdoor activities abound, no matter the season! Both Stowe and Waterbury are wonderful quaint small towns with amazing restaurants and shopping areas.

Large 3000+ sq ft house on 10 acres full of unique, custom features. Let the kids let loose in the playroom - featuring gymnastic rings hanging from the ceiling, a ping pong table, a wii, and a PS3 with tons of games. Adults will be very comfortable on the other side of the house in the kitchen/living room, the beautiful stone patio with fire pit, and the many comfortable bedrooms. HD flatscreen TVs with full HD cable packages and free wifi access.

Layout: There are 2 bedrooms and 2 baths on the kitchen wing, the living room has a very comfortable couch that could be used a child's bed. One bedroom has a king bed and a twin bed, the other has a queen bed.

In the middle section of the house there are 2 more bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a twin bed. There is a secret passageway between the bedrooms and a full drum set. There is another full bath on that floor as well as the laundry room. Upstairs is a large 600sqft playroom with 2 double futon couches and 2 twin beds.

The master suite is a on a wing itself, very spacious and sunny with a 3/4 bath and small kitchenette. It is fitted with a comfortable California king bed.

Outside features a large deck, beautiful stone patio and fireplace, large porch with a living roof, a two-story treehouse with a zip line, and a trampoline. There are trails through the woods and you can walk for miles - wonderful for snowshoeing and x-country skiing in the winter. The Waterbury Reservoir is an amazing feature in any season, but especially the summer for swimming, boating, & fishing. It can be accessed just a couple miles down our road.

I think this is the best location in Vermont! Enjoyed the house over a long holiday weekend. Very convenient location to Stowe Village, Shaw's grocery store, and other activities. Spacious for 8 adults. Well maintained and clean. Linens were in good condition and comfortable. Game room was great with ping pong table and board games. Loved the wood burning fireplace/stove. Kasey, the owner, was great to work with and all details of the house were clear upon arrival. We had a great time!

wow! this place was really fun! and 1 weekend was definitely not enough! we enjoyed it tremendously! very close to everything. not too far from stowe and waterbury. the patio fireplace and the treehouse were awesome. the cabin was very well-maintained and clean. kasey, the owner was extremely helpful with the millions of questions we had!! if ur a nature lover, this is the place for u!

Great ski weekend

Over the last two winters I have stayed here several times. And have always been pleased with the accommodations. With a short drive to the mountain we have never had to much trouble getting in and out when we wanted too. Great for the kids too, plenty of room for everyone.

super funhouse!

our family of 5 (kids ages 9, 4, and 2) stayed in this very fun house with another family of three (mom, dad, and 11 year-old). we had a LOT of options of fun activities for the kids. The playroom is huge and the kids can run around and let loose. The master suite is gorgeous with high ceilings and cedar posts & beams, but the other bedrooms are much smaller and average. We didn't get a chance to explore the outdoors since it was raining most of the time we were there, but we couldn't have picked a better house to be spending a bunch of time indoors with the kids.
Kasey was very friendly and laid-back to deal with. We would love to come visit for the ski season as it is very close to Stowe!
