This place was an excellent find. I was not responsible for making arrangements, but the person who was indicated that the owner was very responsive and easy to deal with. He was very friendly when we met him on arrival and departure.
The house itself was great, the location was especially awesome, walking distance to all the downtown Dingle attractions which is definitely important during high season as parking is not at all easy to come by in most areas. From a distance we got to watch sheep being herded on the hill in front of the house 2 mornings in a row (watch around 9:30 am, it was a Sunday and Monday when we saw it, very cool to see), there were chickens that visited from the property next door, and 3 horses kept in the pasture right next to the house, all of which I felt added to the Irish experience.
The house is very modern and well appointed, particularly the kitchen. The bedrooms were good size and the beds were very comfortable. Although the house does have only 4 bedrooms, I can see how it could easily sleep 12 people - one room has a double bed plus a cot, one has 2 double beds, one has a double and a twin, only one has just one double bed. Probably the best thing was that each bedroom had its own bathroom. No one ever had to wait for a shower and as long as the hot water heater was turned on each night, we never ran out of hot water in the morning no matter how many people showered at once. Utilities are extra but averaged only about 10 euros per guest for us and we used the heat several days and showered pretty frequently.
My only suggestion would be to offer some kind of internet access, but for some people the lack of access to that sort of thing would be considered a blessing. I would not hesitate to recommend this house to future travellers and would certainly stay again if I ever make it back to that area, which I certainly hope to do!
