Fabulous find in Minneapolis...with great hosts.

Submitted: October 19, 2011 Stayed: September 2011
I stayed for three nights and was extremely pleased with all aspects of my experience. I had booked it before travelling from australia and after a long flight in getting here I was most thankful to meet Scott with the keys and a lot of insider information about Minneapolis and the surrounds. I found it easy to get around due to the close proximity to the bus line, and loved having my own kitchen (particularly to store my Ben & Jerry's, which I had been harboring years-long cravings for). I knew that anything I needed was at the end of a phone, and Scott and Jenna were so nice in making themselves available for anything (and for not making me feel stupid when I called to find out how to operate one of the kitchen appliances!). Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone else.

Response: Thanks for your review Lisa. As one of the first guests who came to us from this site, you gave us a good impression of the site! Hey, we figured that appliance out together! It was new to us too! It was a pleasure getting to know you!

The Location is Great and the stay was fun

Submitted: October 19, 2011 Stayed: September 2011
(Originally Submitted on another site) We stayed here over a week while on a business and pleasure trip in September. My husband was at the Convention Center most days. I shopped at Mall of america! We got together with our son and daughter who are both students at the University of Minnesota at night. The neighborhood is conveniently located. Our hosts Scott and Jenna both met us when we arrived, and showed us the features of the loft. They also had directions and recommendations to the essentials like grocery stores. The pictures were accurate. In my opinion, in-person was better than the photos. You could tell it was new well cared for furnishings. Well cleaned and the all kitchen items I needed were provided. The street outside has a lot of potholes, but don't let that ruin your stay!

Your Response - Oct 2, 2011

Thanks for your review! We were happy we were able to greet you in person. That is not always possible. We have heard the city has us on the repave list! (And it is only one block, when you turn the corner, it's much better!) We would love to host you at one of our properties in the future.

Convienient Minneapolis Location

5 of 5
Submitted: October 12, 2011 Stayed: October 2011
Great location, just minutes from downtown. The apartment is well furnished, and has everything you need. Owners are very helpful and only a phone call away. The building houses two other units, but we did not even hear them while we were there. The only negative comments I have are very minor and would not affect my 5 star rating. The negatives are the exterior of the building is a little run down, and there are a lot of stairs to go up to get to the loft. i will definitely look into renting this space again when I travel back to Minneapolis.
Owner's Response: Thanks for staying with us Steven! We have been updating our over 100 year old building for quite a while. With the interior winding down, our focus can shift to the outside. Maybe next time you are in town you will get to see the exterior brought back to its original glory!

Hit the Spot

Submitted: October 10, 2011 Stayed: September 2011
(Originally Submitted on Another Site) Fun, flexible, open loft space. We had a relaxing stay and appreciated the convenience of the kitchenette and living space. Third floor with operating windows let in cool September breeze. Just a few blocks away from playground equipment for children. Good price and no cleaning fee. Owner Response: Thanks for the review, David! We enjoyed having your family there and were happy to be able to accommodate at the last minute. (Truth in Advertising: we were running a special with no cleaning fee.) Hope we can host you at one of our places to stay in the future!
