House, 4 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 3.5 Baths, (Sleeps 10-12)

Come and stay at our Lake Retreat spacious house that is located on the East side of the Flathead lake minutes away from Woods Bay and Bigfork.

House is situated on the elevated shore that allows you to have panoramic view of the Flathead lake. Watch as the sun sets behind the mountains on the opposite shore.

Come as a couple or bring your family and friends to stay in our NON SMOKING, PET FREE, 4 bedroom, 3.25 bath home. Lake can be accessed at the Wayfarers State park that also has a boat launch.

Montana flavored house with 2 car garage + area for RV, boat or a trailer and is around 3600 sf, 2 level + daylight basement. House is wheel chair accessible from the garage and on the main floor. It has a craftsmen made log furniture that kids love to sleep on.

First master suit is located on the upper level of the house and has a row of windows overlooking the lake. It has king size, log bedroom set made my local skilled-men, soft seating, log desk with chair, huge walk-in closet and private bathroom with 2 showers.

Second master suit has a queen size bed, sleeper sofa, private flat screen TV, and a full bathroom. It is located on the lower level that leads out to the covered spacious hot tub/sitting area where you can enjoy the views of the lake as well.

Main floor starts with a large laundry room, full bath with a powder room by the back door, two bedrooms with authentic wood furniture, and an office that can be used to set up for extra sleeping space. It has an open layout with a fully stocked kitchen that is large enough to accommodate a huge cookout is sitting at the back, dining and living room areas with another flat screen TV that lead to the ridiculously spacious deck that overlooks the lake.

This is a perfect retreat for a Summer splashing, Fall hunting, or Winter skiing or tranquil stays. One must appreciate to see and see to appreciate all that Montana surroundings have to offer in any time of the year!

About Lil

I came to Montana to get my education. It did not take long for me to fall in love with it. Later, when I had to move away for the pursuit of a job, I vowed to come back.

Why Lil chose Bigfork

As an opportunity presented, I started to look for a house in the Flathead area. Looking far and wide, I was looking for 'the one'. As soon as I stepped on the deck of this house and saw the lake laying on the platter in front of me, trimmed by the mountains in back, I knew that I found 'the one' I have been looking for! My family could not agree with me more.

What makes this house unique

House sits in a very quiet neighborhood surrounded by cherry orchards. Spacious deck with a fire pit allows you to enjoy all the surrounding beauty with out leaving the house. Deer and wild turkeys come to trim our lawn. With in 30-45 minutes in each direction will bring you to a Big Mountain, or Blacktail ski areas, or a Glacier National Park that has it's own numerous types of outdoor activities. You can do nothing or do so much.

Montana Christmas

Our stay in this home was amazing! Everything it offered was above what we could of imagined, the view was to die for... we had 11 family members in our group and the size of bedrooms, kitchen, etc. worked out wonderfully.
We celebrated Christmas there and the owners allowed us to have a Christmas tree, some of the other properties we checked in to were very anti the whole Christmas idea. We celebrated our sons wedding the weekend after Christmas and the home was spacious enough to accomodate all that we had going on. The neighbor plowed the driveway each morning that was needed. The owners were wonderful about answering our questions and helping with anything we needed. Awesome place to vacation, would highly recommend. We plan on using this home again in the future. What beautiful memories our family made while there.
We recommend the Dog Sledding, it was so much fun. Also at Christmas Bigfork was all decorated in town and it was truly like an old fashioned Christmas.
Anyone thinking about renting this place, I suggest you do, you will not be disappointed!!

First Annual Family Vaca!

Thank you so much for letting us have our family vacation at your home! We had six adults and three toddlers - everyone had their own spaces and each family had their own bathroom which was so nice! The kitchen was amazing, its spacious and stocked with everything we needed - we even baked cookies! It was really nice that the home is baby/toddler proofed, we had baby gates for the stairs and they really enjoyed the toy room! We had a fire on the deck every night and had our fill of smores, enjoyed the hot tub and loved going to the lake with our toys every day! The home was so clean and organized, we had everything we needed! Thank you so much - We will definitely be back!

This was an excellent find on VRBO. The property was clean, well stocked and the owners were readily available for any questions or concerns that arose before and during our 10 day stay. I was impressed with the amount of space that was available. The home is extremely safe for families with small children, which is often a concern when staying in an unfamiliar home. Great price point for the area.

Fabulous Family Spot

What a wonderful place....we will return for another vacation! The owners were fantastic answering questions and meeting our needs prior to our arrival. We had 2 small children/infants coming from out of state and they met all their needs such as safety gates, high chair, pak-n-plays as well as 2 small deck chairs for their enjoyment on the spacious deck. The view and fireworks on the 4th of July were spectacular. Our daughters and their families loved their vacation week and so did we as grandparents!! A great place to relax, hang out and take time for building more family memories. PS. We all love to cook so the HUGE kitchen gave us all room to be together. Thanks for sharing your "home away from home" with us.

What a View!

Four couples rented this beautiful home for 3 nights for our annual get together in Montana. This house worked out perfectly. The huge kitchen which was open to the living area and a view right across the deck to Flathead Lake was great for group cooking! The house was well equipped and had very comfortable beds. We spent a lot of time out on the deck in the late afternoon and evenings after golfing and shopping in Kalispell and the town of Bigfork - which is delightful! The house was very clean when we arrived and more than met our needs for a weekend of good food and lots of fun with great friends! We'd love to come back!
