About this property

This charming home is located off South Sunken Meadow, just .3 miles to the beach on Cape Cod Bay in North Eastham. The home is situated on a wooded lot and has beautiful peaks of the bay from the kitchen and upstairs bedrooms. The first floor has an open floor plan and a full bathroom. The second floor has a full bath as well as two bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and private balcony, and one with two twin sized beds. Non-refundable $250.00 fee (includes administrative fee and damage waiver insurance) Fee plus applicable state and local taxes. Linen package is available at additional cost upon request.

Has potential

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location and size of the house was great. Within walking distance to a quiet beach and close to main route. Made traveling easy and fast. Rooms are very spacious and it was great to have two full sized bathrooms, which are also very spacious. Deck area, upstairs balcony and outdoor shower were also a bonus. Fixtures and furniture are outdated, but typical of cape rentals in my experience. Having no AC was almost unbearable during the week. Fans were provided in addition to a couple ones we had brought, but the house was consistently and significantly more hot compared to outside, even with windows open. The heat made it difficult to relax and enjoy the inside as well as sleeping. House was extremely clean upon arrival, however, kitchen counter had the tendency of attracting swarms of small ants. The hot water was also turned off when we arrived, which was odd and had to call for assistance.

Poor service

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is dated but fine. We were charged extra to turn on the wifi even though it was listed as an amenity. There is no AC but we arranged to bring our own and pay the electric bill difference. The biggest issue was the upkeep of the yard. It had not been mowed in ages or cleaned up. We asked several times before our arrival and at least 4 times during our 3 week stay (through email and phone) and it was never remedied. It affected our use of the yard and house.

Great location, sweet and well equipped house

Wonderful house on a quiet, wooded, sandy road near beach and beautiful marshes. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for a relaxing, family vacation. Would love to stay again next year!
