I have been vacationing in HHI since 1993 and find it the best vacation spot for family or couples. I am an avid golfer and runner and like to relax at the beachside bars and great restaurants at night. This is our future home but you can enjoy it now.
I recently bought this property as I loved the location. From our balcony we can see the pool yet we are not on top of it. The unit is about a minute and a half walk to the beach. The beaches on this part of the island are absolutely perfect. I also like the fact that there is a restaurant and bar right at that entrance to the beach. Its a great spot to watch the sun go down with favorite drink in-hand.
The ideal day is taking your coffee to the beach at sunrise Coming back and going for a quick run. Walk down to the beach and relax for a few hours before heading out to the golf course. After golf I like walking back to the beach and sitting at the bar with a beer to watch the sun set. Then out to dinner. If you want, you never have to worry about driving at night as you can get to the many bars and restaurants at Shelter Cove vis the courtesy shuttle or just by taking a long walk.
