Set on 12 acres with stunning views of Lake Norfork in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas, Anedodi is an exclusive cabin rental hideaway. Decked out with premium features throughout the house, decks and landscaped gardens. Every detail is impeccable, from the luxury organic bed linens to the giant egg bathtubs and natural wood, silk and wool decor. A cleansing experience for mind body and soul - the house has been designed to be 'green' and create a healthy, relaxing environment for your family.

Named after the Cherokee Indian word for 'adventure', there is plenty to keep everyone entertained. From exciting water sports, to fishing, hiking, biking, climbing, crystal mining, antiquing - or just relaxing on one of the plush daybeds or hammocks scattered around the extensive grounds.

The perfect respite from city life - all you can see is green trees, the clear fresh mountain water lake, deer, butterflies and hummingbirds. Anedodi really is a taste of paradise - a chance for you to kick back, experience new things as a family and have no cares in the world for an endless week of fun.

Anedodi sleeps up to 12 people comfortably including a sofa bed in the lounge and 2 rollaway beds. The large 700 sqft deck is perfect for entertaining and could host an event for up to 100 people. If you are planning a wedding or a family event, there are plenty of stunning lake view locations for you to choose from throughout the 12 acres. The lodge would be delighted to help you plan your special event - flowers, decorated arch, marquis, tables, chairs, invitations and catering.

Have a dip in our 40 foot luxury heated pool then relax on the giant, plush daybeds or sun loungers, all with wonderful views of the lake. Try out your own personal 9-hole Frisbee Golf Course - Experience one of the most up and coming sports in America. Fun for all ages, test your skills through strategically placed baskets throughout our giant oaks. Also in the grounds is a shuffleboard game and a horse shoe pit. Rainy days can be spent in the games room enjoying the pool table, table tennis, piano, drum kit, Wii games; or in the living room with a DVD library and local wildlife books.

Tracey Marina is also just 3 miles away, so you can keep your boat here for the duration of your stay or rent a boat. The marina provides fuel, snacks and essentials for your water-sporting on Lake Norfork. There are also a few scuba diving shops nearby, where you can hire all the necessary equipment and even get your open water certification with a 3-day course.

About The Owner

I run a luxury travel company based in New York. I have been organizing luxury tailor-made vacations around the world for 12 years.

Why The Owner chose Norfork Lake

The area is completely unspoilt and natural with clean, clear water, more wildlife than the Amazon! And something to do in every season... however there were no luxury accommodations. We wanted to add a new element to the region - an eco-friendly luxury vacation rental.

What makes this house unique

Fantastic views of the lake, complete privacy of 12 acres and use of a private pool, frisbee golf course, lots of deck space and luxury accommodations all with ensuite bathrooms. The marina is just 4 miles away, from which you can rent a variety of boats and equipment to make sure you hit the lake in style.

Wonderful week!

Anedodi was just what we needed. The place was amazing and more than I ever imagined. We hiked, played pool, went swimming, watched the deer right in the yard, and the view was to die for. It was peaceful, tranquil, and so relaxing that I did not want to leave. I will certainly be returning and I will spread the word about your beautiful place.

Wonderful Getaway

Getting away to Anedodi was a wonderful experience for my husband and I. I'm not normally a "cabin" type of person and was thrilled when I found www.anedodi.com. I booked our stay that very day.

The venue is as wonderful in person as it is portrayed on the website. We were greeted as soon as we arrived, shown around, and enjoyed a kitchen full of goodies - nice touch! There was so much to do... hike, explore, bike ride, enjoy the lake, grill, watch the sunrise, roast marshmallows, watch movies, play board games, play pool and ping pong, enjoy a bubble bath, play music, and especially, sleep!

My husband and I came to get away, but we will definitely be coming back and bringing our friends with us next time!

Our family all enjoyed staying at Anedodi, the setting in the Ozarks is so unspoilt, but the luxury of the lodge left us feeling very spoilt! The views are amazing, and all of the little details have been thought of, like hammocks, lots of games, DVDs, wake boards, kitchen gadgets and top quality furnishings. We felt very relaxed and hardly left, except to rent a pontoon for a day on the lake. We would definitely come back in the future.

Private venue for my family of 6. Plenty of room with well conceived living, bathroom, and pool. Surroundings were wonderful-pool and bird watching from the deck were great! If we have an opportunity, we'll come again...just like being at home.
