Casa Geneva is a gem! Eye appealing from every angle!! Experience beauty and grace in this architecturally designed, spacious, yet intimate, home named for our 90 year old mother. This one bedroom, one bath home is simply elegant in design and furnishing while giving comfort and tranquility.
Inside, relax in elegant comfort. Or, outside, have your pick of appealing patios -- use one for breakfast, one for an afternoon snooze or one for reading. End your day stretched out on the built-in, cushioned sectional couch perfectly integrated into the large roof deck. Then watch, with drink in hand, as the sun drops over the rim of the Pacific Ocean in a green flash. The end to a perfect day.
The home's open kitchen/dining/ high ceiling living room w/wood burning fireplace is light and airy. Mature gardens garnish the many outside living/garden spaces. All patios are furnished with wrought iron, Sunbrella padded and comfy furniture. There are framed views of the sea from the living room windows and expansive ocean views from the roof deck
Casa Geneva is on a quiet and lovely calle (street) in a residential area of Todos Santos called Las Tunas, two miles from town, and is nestled among other one-of-kind designed homes -- yet is only a field away from the majestic Pacific where you can walk for miles, undisturbed, almost in solitude, serenaded by spouting gray and humpback whales.
We look forward to sharing this special home with you.

Many thanks to Tony and Janelle for a wonderful stay at their lovely guest home. Casa Geneva is beautiful, comfortable, and offered us an extremely quiet, clean, incredible oasis for a week of relaxation. The accommodations are over the top - 5 star! After enjoying a fabulous week, we extended for another week because we were enjoying the home and area so much. We enjoyed surfing at Cerritos almost everyday - just a quick drive, many beautiful walks on the beach in front of the house, sunsets from the roof, great restaurants (La Casita), a lovely kitchen to cook fresh organic vegetables. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and hope to visit again soon.

Lovely environment to get away from everything and spend time with your loved one. You feel safe and secluded in this one bedroom house in paradise! You can walk to the beach where there is a sea turtle sanctuary (SO CUTE!). We watched the little hatchlings return to the mighty azul.
You won't regret staying here!
Janelle and Tony are wonderful hosts of the house. I became ill due to my weak stomach and Janelle immediately offered to get me medicine and called her friends for advice.
Thank you for the memories and the wonderful house!

A lovely home surrounded by nature. We spent a month at Casa Geneva in Todos Santos (early January to early February) enjoying consistently sunny, warm days and cool nights.
The casa is stylishly and artistically decorated, immaculately clean, and very comfortable both indoors and out. We loved drifting off to sleep to the sound of ocean surf with the cool night’s breeze flowing through the window.
There’s an abundance of local organic produce and fresh seafood available in Todos Santos; we cooked many of our meals and found the kitchen very well appointed. All water in the casa is filtered which is very convenient—no need to buy 5 gallon jugs or plastic bottles of drinking water.
The gardens surrounding the casa are lush and beautiful–hummingbirds zip past, orioles and warblers flit through, and butterflies flutter by all day. The rooftop deck is perfect for relaxing with a book during the day, watching incredible sunsets in the evening, and at night the stargazing is spectacular.
From the casa, it’s an easy walk to the beach where in winter one can watch grey whales pass by, marvel at mobula rays’ acrobatics, and see baby sea turtles released into the Pacific (google: Tortugueros Las Playitas).
We're pretty active and we loved having a network of trails just up from the house to walk, bike, and run in addition to the roads that meander through Las Tunas. The casa is around 2 miles from town so was an easy bike ride or a nice long walk to grocery shop, wander the art galleries, or dine in one of the many restaurants.
The mini-super next to the gym/juice bar on the way into town makes great tortillas de harina and frijoles. If they have fresh tomato tortillas pick some up—infused with flavor that one won't ever find in store-bought tortillas.
Tony and Janelle are warm and generous hosts and were great to have as neighbors. They provided suggestions for dining, finding the freshest produce and seafood, tips for checking out local beaches, and info about activities in Todos Santos. On their recommendation, we caught a couple nights of the Todos Santos Music festival; we loved the small venue at Hotel California. We also hiked a trail they recommended from Punto Lobos to the old sugar cane port—a little cove with the most amazing azure water.
Many thanks to Tony and Janelle for sharing their slice of paradise in Baja California Sur with us.
Casa Geneva more than lives up to its description. It's truly a lovely place to get away from the numbing gray of Seattle in winter. We have rented vacation homes via VRBO all over the US and Europe. This was the best experience by far. It truly exceeded our expectations! Every detail of the casita is well-designed aesthetically, as well as for comfort and relaxation. It strikes the perfect balance of a design that makes you feel immediately at home and of being a place that wants you to enjoy being there. That's rare, indeed, for a vacation rental.
The bed is very comfortable, the shower is spacious and calming, the sofa and chairs are welcoming and there are inviting places to read in every part of the home. We enjoyed breakfast on the patio off the kitchen and having our nightly gin and tonic on the roof deck as we watched the sunset over the Pacific. One of the nicest surprises was the number of birds inhabiting the colorful gardens surrounding Casa Geneva. We identified warblers we had not seen before and took great pleasure in bird watching in general, and listening to birds singing from early morning until dark.
There are miles and miles of sandy beaches and places to discover.
The owners, Tony and Janelle are very special people and their love for the area is contagious. They take full advantage of living there themselves and were full of suggestions for things to do. Just observing them and their sense of living fully contributed to the pleasures of our 8-day stay memorable.
We picked Todos Santos because we did not want a resort town. We are so glad we did. There are many layers to the Todos Santos community and the more you observe and experience the more you appreciate what a gem of a place this is. There are some excellent galleries and shops, and many good restaurants with friendly and smiling service. We found the prices inexpensive to moderate. Moreover, we felt safe. We got into a rhythm of just being there and feeling the present, moment to moment.
We will definitely return for a longer stay.
I came to Casa Geneva after a tough year of work, looking for calm, beauty and inspiration – and Todos Santos, Casa Geneva and its owners, Janelle and Tony, simply gave it to me.
Casa Geneva is a house decorated with plenty of taste, a beautiful garden full of cacti, roses and flowering shrubs, decorated in pastel shades inside, equipped with everything you might possibly wish for and last but not least, so many terraces outside that you can simply move with the course of the sun. My favourite: its roof-top terrace, from which you can look out like the captain of the ship, either so the desert hills behind or straight out to the ocean and – at least between mid-January and March – to about 10 spouting whales per day.
The casa is no more than a short and pleasant stroll to the beach, where you will be more or less on your own, can watch whales, manta rays, flying fish, pelicans or talk to the local fishermen.
To go to Todos Santos it is 8-10 minutes by car. An authentic colonial, small Mexican city, full of galleries and restaurants with incredibly fine and interesting fusion cuisine, festivals and the most wonderful mix of interesting people, locals, Americans and a few Europeans.
What can I say – to me (yes, I know it’s a cliché, but here you get as close to it becoming reality as you can imagine) it was paradise. Not to forget the important role that Janelle and Tony played, who are wonderful people, so knowledgeable about the place and always willing to help with whatever information you might need. I’ll be back.
We stayed at Casa Geneva over the holidays this year. It was just wonderful. The home is beautiful, tastefully appointed and quite spacious. It really is a complete home away from home.
Tony and Janelle were amazing hosts as well. They met us in town and guided us to the property our first night in town. They provided custom maps and detailed advice on what to do and where to eat in town. They even had us over for magaritas one night. I enjoyed it so much, I'm planning a trip to Taos just to stay in their other rental :)
