We recently spent five days at Mission Ranch Lodge and could have stayed many more. Six adults with much more room than we needed. The home is immaculate and beautifully decorated. Such a comfortable home, gorgeous kitchen with everything you could possibly want. The view out the back is amazing. The creek on the side of the house is beautiful. We had whitetail deer visit every morning and evening. The house is located in a beautiful area with lots to do. Only an hour away from the north entrance to Yellowstone, a few minutes to the quaint towns of Livingston and Big Timber. Rich, the ranch manager, gave us a very informative tour. Darcy, one of the owners, was amazing to work with...always very reachable and so pleasant. I would highly recommend this property.
This was truly a perfect vacation. Words can't describe the beauty of this house which was immaculate and had plenty of room for our entire family (All 17 of us) . There was so much to do for everyone. Our days were filled with horseback riding, zip lining, rafting and most of all fishing. We also took a day trip to Yellowstone and throughly enjoyed the boiling springs. Our evenings were spent giliing and sitting by the fire along the mission creek. I would highly recommend the mission ranch lodge if you want the vacation of a lifetime. Darcy was so accomodating and Rich extremely helpful by giving us a tour. Gonna miss those horses and angus, great place. Wish we could go back next week.
Can't say enough about this property. All five couples from Illinois wished we could have booked for another few days so we could have continued to enjoy the accommodations and relaxed in this magnificent property before driving back home. The property was more than what was described and the photos did not do it justice. Its hard to photograph the peaceful setting with the calming effect of the running trout stream right out your back door. The spacious kitchen and living area was a great place to gather and discuss our activities that took place and plan for new ones. Something for everyone at this property. Outdoor grilling with the cattle farm meat provided is a must and a real special treat. Rich, the Farm Manager, was very helpful in providing us with fishing and property information. Frying up the fresh trout we caught on the last day was spectacular. Thank you Darcy for allowing us to enjoy your property and make our vacation the best ever. The Illinois Five.
The lodge is beautifully designed and furnished; and is stocked with everything you might imagine using during your stay. The grounds and creek just outside make the perfect, peaceful setting. I would highly recommend the lodge to anyone staying in the Livingston area.
Our family was absolutely delighted with this home and its surrounding land and creek and river. It was perfect. I miss sleeping to the sound of Mission Creek now......so totally relaxing. The photos while accurate and representative, don't give the scale of the very large and well stocked kitchen nor the general large scale of all the public areas. We were so comfortable and happy. Darcy and Zena and Zack were very accommodating and we felt fortunate to meet them and enjoy some time together.
We enjoyed the fly fishing, hiking, creek exploration, access to Livingston and it's activities, and the 2nd Street Bistro when we dined out. It's fabulous. We also could make a day trip to Yellowstone Park.
We have highly reccommended this property to friends already.
Some old friends and I were looking something other than the local motels to spend a fishing, catching up and relaxing vacation. We thought we had a pretty good idea what Mission Ranch was like when we booked it. Well, we were completely wrong. I have been fortunate enough to see a little bit of the world at the end of a fishing rod. Mission Ranch is the most beautiful, comfortable and accommodating lodgings I have seen. If you are ready to take your accommodations to the next level this is the place. The owner and the ranch staff go over the top for everything.
