About Sarah M-Jones
We are a young, active couple who enjoy working and playing in the outdoors, solitude and community. We have lived in Squamish for past 3 years after living in the Canadian Rockies for the better part of the past decade. We chose to move to Squamish for it's unique location beside the ocean, within the rich coastal forest and in the foothills of the coast range mountains.
In the midst of this very special place we look forward to sharing our beautiful home with you and your family/friends.
Sarah M-Jones purchased this house in 2011
Why Sarah M-Jones chose Squamish
Squamish is nestled in the depths of the rich cedar coastal forest, on the shores of Howe Sound and the pacific ocean, beside the Squamish river and underneath the magnificent granite monolith (2nd largest in the world) known as the Stawamus Chief. A quiet town relative to the neighboring village of Whistler and the city of Vancouver, it is filled with community, lots of amenities and restaurants and easy to travel (less then 40 minutes) to and from the Whistler/Blackcomb ski hill or the museums, beaches, culture and Olympic sites of Vancouver.
What makes this house unique
Backing on to miles of trails in the Smoke Bluffs for mountain biking, climbing and hiking - our home is a wonderful oasis just walking distance from Downtown Squamish. We are located in a quiet neighborhood in the most desirable location in Squamish, Hospital Hill. Our large south-facing deck has views which extend miles down the Howe Sound and to the other side of the Squamish river. Furthermore, our proximity to Vancouver and Whistler make this home an ideal place to land for a comfortable and convenient holiday in Western Canada.
Guestbook comments from the owner
Dear Sarah and Scott,
We would like you to know how much we enjoyed our stay at your house this past week. Everyone was relaxed and comfortable and no one more so than Ripley!
Living in the Fraser Valley, we tend to forget the alpine beauty offered up on the Sea To Sky, turning eastward for altitude as we more often do.
With your genuine regard for our needs and easy-going approach to our stay, we would happily recommend 38167 Clarke to all,
Joe Carl Dianne Emily Patrick and Ripley
