Pool, Jacuzzi, bocce ball court, and Grand Room perfectly oriented for BBQ's and pool partys of up to 10 people. Horse facilities available. Pets are welcome and the fenced area is substantially escape proof for dogs.

Wine Weekend with Friends

As soon as you drive up the steep/winding driveway (be careful) you feel you are on vacation. The 360 view is spectacular! We had a wonderful weekend with friends. We come to Santa Ynez Valley every year and we picked this house because of the views. It was nice to get up early and sit outside and watch the deers, listen to the woodpeckers and enjoy each other. The house was very comfortable and we had everything we needed.

Wine Country Retreat.

We met some of our family in Santa Ynez for a long weekend and had a great time. The house was comfortable, plenty of linens provided, and the hot tub just perfect. We also brought our dogs and they had a great time romping around the property. Overall we would definitely consider staying at this property again!

Great House!

We had a really great time and I highly recommend staying here! The pictures set the tone, but do not compare to the experience. It is a real find. I do recommend to be aware that the road up the hill is to be taken slow, it's pretty steep but very safe if your careful. I wouldn't recommend driving it at night after having too many ;) The deer in the morning was so cool, and the hot tub was great! And Hot!! Very spacious for 6! Thank you JD!!

As Life Should Be Lived...

Right from the moment you drive up the winding driveway you can feel that something special is around the corner, and there is! This a beautiful ranch home and setting in the rolling hills of the SYV(Santa Ynez Valley), where you can unwind and spend time quiet time in total relaxation. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfy, and there are views out every window. I recommend to taking a walk around the property among it's many trees, especially the pepper trees. I can't tell you how many deer, woodpeckers, and hawks we saw throughout our weekend. And there is the sweetest little cat you'll ever meet to greet you after a day out in the countryside. All I can say is once you stay here, you'll definitely be back. Thanks J.D.!

fantastic!

this was my second time staying here. the hot tub heats up relatively fast. the fireplace was large and put to good use. the house provides fantastic views. the beds are comfortable. the location is very central. close to solvang. close to wineries and vineyards. the owners are very laid back and easy to work with!
but, you shouldn't stay here. because if it gets popular, then i won't be able to book it in the future.
