Revel in the classic Seattle experience of relaxed elegance! 3 miles south of Seward Park, this beautiful artistic retreat is quiet and serene, yet only 15 minutes from the heart of downtown Seattle. Perched above a privacy hedge of cedar trees, the house has expansive views of Lake Washington, the rolling Cascade foothills and a nearby forest with old growth trees. Lounge in the comfort of the living room and watch the moonrise over Lake Washington; awake to the sunrise in the master suite with balcony and view of the lake. Bird watchers will enjoy visits from eagles, woodpeckers, stellar jays and hummingbirds. Venture down to the neighboring wooded park for refreshing nature walks along the trails and creek. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath home is a beloved project of it's owners, a general contractor and a professional artist.
The owners, staying in the completely separate mother-in-law apartment, are there to assure the property runs smoothly so you can have a pleasant and relaxing Seattle experience.
Beautiful colors, lots of original art and attention to detail and comfort is yours. Enjoy!

Terrell Lozada purchased this house in 2007
We love this neighborhood so much that when we were ready to move from our last house we bought the house across the street! This area is a gem-- so close to Seattle and yet nestled in nature.
Breathtaking views of the lake from most of the rooms. The house is a quiet oasis after a day out seeing the sights. Being literally 10 minutes from the airport is wonderful when traveling. Easy access to I-5 takes one right into heart of downtown; minutes to I-405 makes Bellevue and the Eastside an easy commute.
The house is wonderful, the art is fantastic, the kitchen is very well equipped. As we love to get up and have breakfast and travel all day and come home at night for a late supper, this fit our needs perfectly. Cocktails on the deck overlooking the lake, dinner and than Home Made Ice Cream for Desert with cafe Latte' thank you Doug and Terrell. PS don't miss Snoqualmie Falls and The Japanese Gardens in Washington Park.
My family of 5 just returned from a visit to this house.... no wait, this one must be called a HOME. The neighborhood is in a wonderfully diverse neighborhood that feels quite safe and tucked away even though it is, of course, located in the urban environment of Seattle. Our little guy (age 2) and 12 year old immensely enjoyed the playground at the beautiful nearby Seward Park while our 15 year old was able to get in her daily running for cross country on the paths there. There is a great natural foods store nearby and wonderful dining (Flying Squirrel Pizza = yum). The homeowners have created absolute perfection in the interior and exterior of this home. You'll notice new artwork every day you're there. The homeowners have thought of everything you'll need during your stay. AND AND AND the ice cream that was made for us (fresh local blackberries, agave, and dark chocolate) was seriously the BEST we've ever eaten. I can't recommend this place highly enough as a home base to explore Seattle. It was great having the owners nearby to give advice and answer questions for us. Don't hesitate to book this one :)
A beautifully manicured home and property in a very quiet neighborhood with a great view of Lake Washington. The perfect location to start and finish a day of frantic tourism. Just kick your shoes off and relax!
From the moment we pulled into the driveway, I felt peace. Gardens well attended. House was immaculate and comfortable. Plenty of windows with beautiful views. Loved eating in the deck and watching the boats & seeing the lights turn on across the lake. Lots of birds watching available. Had a humming bird fly up and hover. Even though Terrell & Doug lived below--they were sensitive to our privacy. Would definitely rent again.
This home was amazing. I stayed with husband and my parents and when each person walked through the front door it was a "WOW!". Spectacular views from living room and dining room. Home is spotless, beautifully decorated and very classy. Original artwork and attention to detail in all rooms makes the stay even more memorable. We rented this home to visit my sister in the heart of Seattle (Capitol Hill) and it only took 15 minutes to get to her place. A perfect location to explore all the tourist spots and go home to QUIET, comfy, home tucked away in the hills and trees. We would definitely stay here again. Owners are genuine, happy and very helpful with any questions. They are passionate about this home and it shows! If you want the perfect stay in Seattle, book this place now =)
Our trip to WA was our first visit to the state. We were in town to visit U of Washington for our son. The house was centrally located to the college, downtown and National Parks. In just a quick four day trip we visited the college, visited the famous Public Market downtown on Pike Street, saw a Mariners/NY Yankees baseball game, and drove to Mt. Rainer National Park which was the highlight of our trip. While at the house, the views in the morning of the lake were so relaxing. The house was amazingly clean and very comfortable. The owners even made us homemade ice cream for our visit. Now that's hospitality!
10 Miles to Downtown Seattle, 9 Miles to Seatac Airport
One of the finest public gardens in the city, Kubota Garden, is right in our neighborhood. Birders will enjoy a walk through the Black River Riparian Reserve to observe a large heron colony. The Boeing Museum of Flight is nearby, as is Columbia City, a small historic neighborhood with great restaurants and a thriving farmers' market on Wednesdays.
