My husband and I are both trained as architects. I work as a designer, architect, and adjunct instructor at a local college. My husband is originally from Nashville and works for a student housing company. We also have a 5-year old daughter.
Rachel and Edward Martin purchased this apartment in 2010
The location is fantastic. It's a great walking neighborhood. We walk to the Dragon Park with our daughter several times a week (you can pretty much see the park from the sidewalk in front). We also enjoy walking to the many restaurants so close by.
We so enjoyed our three nights at this clean, green get away! Located in an amazing residential neighborhood in the heart of Nashville, the best part of our stay was taking the time for a couple of morning strolls--one through the neighborhood and the other through Vanderbilt university's campus. We truly loved everything about it. The beds were comfortable and clean with crisp, white linens. The apartment is decorated in an interesting, stylish, and simple way. We were very comfortable and at home which says a lot since we traveled with our five month old! We would recommend it to anyone!
This was our first visit to Nashville and I originally was looking at downtown lofts to stay. But was so glad we chose this place instead after visiting downtown at night. This rental is close to Vandy and Belmont colleges that my daughter wanted to visit and our favorite Pancake Pantry. Drive downtown was short. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, and I didn't have any problem parking our car on the street.
I had to finish some work on my computer, and the internet connection was available and fast. We did not use the kitchen except for the fridge. Basics were provided if someone wanted to use it. Too many good places to eat nearby.
The beds were soft and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Washer and dryer available as well. If we come to Nashville again, we would stay here again.
Our family enjoyed our stay in this adorable restoration. We always enjoy vrbo for the quietness and quaintness of many of the neighborhoods and this did not disappoint! I loved the skylights with the trees. Apartment is close to Hillsboro village, Vandy and Belmont.
We were in Nashville for a wedding and this place was perfect for 4 people! Conveniently located to get to so many destinations within 15 minutes. The place was clean, beds comfortable and the kitchen even had some basics if you are planning to cook (such as olive oil, spices and coffee filters). We would definitely stay here again.
This property was the perfect fir for my family as we were in town for my son's graduation from Vanderbilt. We were able to walk to campus and Hillsboro Village in just a few minutes. It provided a nice quiet place to recharge before heading out again to our next activity. Edward and Rachel were extremely hospitable and we adored their daughter and Ivan the cat. This will be our go-to place if we return to Nashville for a visit.
We loved our stay at this location, which is close to two different bus lines to downtown Nashville. The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood and blocks from great restaurants and unique shops. We walked to Fido or Bongo Java everyday for a wonderful cup of coffee and food. The only thing that was missing was a bigger sitting area and breakfast nook. The house was clean, comfortable and we would defiantly recommend to friends visiting Nashville. We felt very at home in the house and the neighborhood.
Nice neighborhood. Two large bedrooms. Small sitting room but comfortable. Convenient to downtown. Walkable if you like to walk, about an hour via Vanderbilt campus. Owners very responsive. Would stay there again.
