You'll love this historic cottage, rich with history, for your Pine Island vacation. It's private and secluded, and it couldn't get any closer to the water. Built in 1942 from heart pine and featuring 180 degree views of Charlotte Harbor, it is one of a pair of cottages sharing a spacious lot, four covered parking bays, a large deck for outdoor dining, kayaks, and bicycles for exploring the island.
Fishing is as easy as walking out into the water from the kayak launch or paddling to a sandbar just offshore. After a morning of kayaking on the bay and an afternoon of fishing, take a front-row seat on the deck with drink in hand to enjoy the entertainment: dolphins, manatees, pelicans, seagulls, egrets, osprey, more. After dark, on quiet nights, you can sometimes hear the dolphin breathing, and the stars overhead are brilliant.
Bokeelia Sea, the east cottage, is equipped with a queen bed in the master bedroom and a daybed in the guest room. The cottage is decorated in old Florida style that is full of charm, but it also has the modern creature comforts: WiFi, cable, heat and air conditioning. Enjoy incredible tranquility in your seaside nest, and you’ll never want to leave.
