This architecturally unique cottage is on Sturgeon Bay Drive, two miles north of Cross Village. It is directly on Lake Michigan. The beach is private and sandy. The cottage boasts large windows upstairs and down, providing constant, intimate contact with the Lake.
The upstairs houses the newest two bedrooms (the white wooden Queen Bed and another has a 3 person Bunk Bed), a washer and dryer and a shower bathroom. The downstairs is where you'll find a full kitchen, eating area and living room, bedroom (Full Bed) and shower bathroom.
The UpNorth attractions are 30 minutes away in either Mackinaw or Harbor Springs. If you desire golf, shopping, movie theaters, kid's roadside attractions, or fine/casual dining, it's all there. All-The-Fudge-You-Can-Eat.

Our bet is that you will want to mostly stay right here.
Hike, ride a bike, kayak, boardsail, comb the beach. Climb the huge sand dune 150 yards to the south (you saw it when you came down the road). Or walk a 1/4 mile north on the road and as you first go downhill (at the bottom of the hill) peer into the woods on your right and see an old logging trail to walk.

Our family has outlawed TV in this place. But we could not give up the internet. The streaming internet content over DSL (with your laptop and our wireless router) gets you quite a bit of entertainment. But our rule: no screen time until after dark. Go OUTSIDE!
The ever shifting sand creates numerous sand bars, providing shallow, gradual depth to the water. Most summers an adult needs to go out 50-75 yards before the water is over their head.
Perfect water experience for kids. Perfect place to plant yourself, with your favorite beverage. Or take a stroll, looking for unique stones. The beach is not a crowded one. Early morning runs and walks are tranquil. On dead still mornings the loons can wake you. On other days the crashing waves are the first thing you hear and the play time in them are a blast.
The beach is not conducive to docks, so powered, noisy watercraft are rare. However you can launch watercraft in Cross Village.
