We bought this home in Queen Anne because it was a charming oasis right in the middle of the most dynamic, family-friendly neighborhood in Seattle. Three blocks away it's scenic, offers activities for just about everybody, we love the shops, restaurants and the Queen Anne people are down-to-earth, smart and interesting!
I enjoy walking three blocks away to Kerry Park viewing of the Seattle Skyline, Puget Sound, Mount Rainier and Islands! A block away is an organic coffee house Cafe Fiore with freshly-baked pastries, Top-Pot donuts, Molly Moon Ice Cream, and our favorite restaurant - Via Tribulani! Trader Joes is the bonus - just down the alley from our house! Location-wise and charm, this house could not be more properly located!!!
I would highly recommend this house for any one planning a trip to Seattle. The owner was wonderful to work with and the house was clean and well kept and centrally located with easy walking to restaurants and shops as well as a short drive to the main sites and attractions.
We recentyly stayed in this cute Queen Anne Home with 4 adults and 3 children ages 17,15 and 11. The home was clean and very comfortable. The neighborhood is also quiet in the evenings which was wonderful because we slept with the windows opened. We were concerned that there was not air conditioning however while the days were high 70s the night cooled down to 60s. We enjoyed morning coffee and reading on the cute front porch along with cocktails in the evening. The kids kicked around a ball in the front of the house. The neighborhood is friendly with a lot of people walking around with kids and dogs. Its' walking distance to a great coffee shop, ice cream shop and pizza place. It's 5 min from restaurants and grocery stores. It's about a 10 min drive to the EMP, Space Needle and Pike Market. About 2 hrs from Mt. Ranier and about 1 1/2 hrs from Annacortes. The kitchen was well equipped and the electric grill worked out great. Would go back again and would recommend to other families.
We were SO thankful to have this home for our four-day stay in Seattle. Eight of our family shared these accommodations. The beds were SO comfortable. The kitchen was a great asset. The LOCATION was even better than we hoped. We were just a half block from a Trader Joe's and a couple blocks from the 5 SPOT Restaurant and other excellent eateries. We will definitely be recommending this house as a Seattle rental, to our friends and family.
My family and I just loved staying at this rental! The home is lovely and the location is fantastic! We loved being so close to Seattle Center and the Trader Joes right around the corner was SO convenient. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. Our young children enjoyed the many toys that were available - what a nice treat! We would stay here again, for sure!
My family consisting of two parents, two children with spouses and one two year old grandchild recently stayed at this home to attend a family wedding. The house was wonderful, comfortable and suited all our needs. The neighbourhood was great with amazing viewpoints and parks. I would absolutely recommend this home.
This was the perfect rental for four adults and four children. We found it to be very comfortable and family friendly. The Queen Ann neighborhood is just lovely and it was so nice to return to the house after a full, full day of visiting the sights of Seattle. We had one issue with the wireless but the owner, Jill, took care of it within a few hours.
Trader Joes is located just down the alley and was a huge bonus for us and our kids. Cafe Fiori just a block away has great expresso. Since there were eight of us, we didn't use the public transportation but would drive and park at the Seattle Center (before 10 am, 10 hours for $9) and see the sights from there.
We would definitely rent this home again.
