The spacious and charming apartment Amalia is in quiet non-tourist, yet central location near La Orotava on the mature green north side of Tenerife island. You can really enjoy the wonderful view of the nearby ocean from the balcony thanks to the fantastic hillside location in the middle of a banana plantation. The tasteful Spanish furnishings create a cosy and relaxed atmosphere with a lot of flair.

This lovely old Canarian town is located in the middle of the mature, green Orotava valley, on the north side of the island. The original town, with its large Old Town centre and the restored buildings, are listed buildings under preservation order. The many beautiful carved wood balconies are considered, in addition to many other things, architectural gems. The area is a popular destination for nature lovers and hikers thanks to the vast net of hiking trails.

Die Reiseunterlagen wurden pünktlich durch VivaAmbiente geschickt. Durch die dabei gegebene Wegbeschreibung war die Unterkunft leicht zu finden.
Lage und Ausstattung entsprechen der Beschreibung. Die Außenanlagen und das Pool machen einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Die Sauberkeit des Appartments selbst und die Austattung der Küche mit Geschirr könnte aber besser sein.
Die Zufahrt zum Grundstück erfolgt über eine recht schmale Straße. Man muß damit rechnen, bei Gegenverkehr auch mal einige Meter im Rückwärtsgang zurückfahren zu müssen. Am Wochenende ist die Straße etwas mehr als gewöhnlich befahren, da dann viele Einheimische zum sehr schönen Playa Bollullo fahren.Uns persönlich hat dies aber nicht weiter gestört.
Owner's Response: Wir bedanken uns für die offenen Worte und die Anmerkungen zu der Sauberkeit und der Ausstattung des Geschirrs in der Küche. Wir haben nach Rücksprache mit den Kunden und detaillierten Informationen zu den oben genannten Punkten uns mit den Eigentümern der Wohnung in Verbindung gesetzt. Wir haben die vom Kunden bemängelte Sauberkeit in der Küche (Dunstabzugshaube und Backofen) beanstandet und den Austausch des teilweise angeschlagenen Geschirrs bewirkt.
