Beautiful House in Great Location

Upon arrival at the house, we were personally greeted by the owner of the house. She gave us a quick tour of the stunning house that was immaculately decorated. You could tell that she has put a great amount of time into every detail of house as well as the experience. This made a great first impression. It seems as though any aspect of the experience, from towels, linens and air mattresses to anything you would need to enjoy the short walk to the beach was thought of. This made our stay effortless.

The condition of that house was spotless, I cannot say enough about how impressed we were with the property, truly a great stay. We had 4 pairs of 2 staying in the property and there was plenty of space to where you never felt you were on top of each other. I would recommend this house to anyone going on a family vacation.

Something to consider when staying here: I think it is worth noting that the property is extremely close to a beach, but is about 30-45 minutes to San Diego proper. This is not a problem as long as you have adequate car space, just something to plan for if you are planning on doing a lot of San Diego touristy things. There is also the option to take the Coaster train into San Diego, but that will take approx. 1hr to get to the downtown area.

This property was amazing. We traveled with a family friends of our. The size of the house is surprising! You walk through it and it just seems to keep on going and gong. We were there with another family that traveled with us and there was more than enough space for all of us and room to spare. When we wanted to spend time together and also when we all needed alone time. There seemed to be always a place where we could sit and relax. Perfectly clean. With so many things available to us in the kitchen and bathrooms. We were welcomed by a rather large basket of fresh fruit and a bottle of wine! Much needed! Staying at this place made our visit to Ocean side very special and comfortable. The only thing missing is a clear view of the ocean. It is located about three blocks from the beach (which we walked to several times) but you cannot see it from the house. The owner was very helpful and so kind and we would absolutely recommend it to friends. Loved it!!

Great house for family reunion.

The house is extremely well kept and equipped with eveything needed for a large family. It was perfect for our stay with our family which included nine grandchildren from 5 months to 12 years old. Lonnie had everything set up to accomadate our family. The kids had almost as much fun exploring the house and the games provided as they did playing at the beach or fishing from the pier. We enjoyed preparing meals in the well appointed kitchen and the Weber grill was spotless. The location was ideal, a short walk to the beach, pier and town. Our only regret was not staying longer, nobody wanted to leave!

Perfect location in Oceanside

This was the perfect house for Oceanside. It was in a quiet location and within walking distance of the beach and running trails. The house was well stocked - down to the little cups in the bathroom. I was surprised there wasn't a hair dryer in the guest bathroom. Otherwise, we had a great experience. The house was well maintained clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is gorgeous and well stocked (love the Viking stove top!). When we arrived, Lonnie had left us 2 bottles of wine and fruit! It was such a treat to see, after a 5 hour traveling ordeal. Internet worked well in the common areas, and was a little spotty if you got too far upstairs or in the guest room.

Oceanside has a nice beach - I loved running by the beach in the morning and then hanging out with the kids at the beach in the afternoon. The city of Oceanside doesn't have much in terms of restaurants. Good thing the house had a great kitchen. We ended up cooking a lot instead of going out to eat. BUT - it was really close to lego land. With young kids, that was definitely a bonus. We were able to come back to the house for nap time and then go back to the park in the afternoon.

Can't wait to return.
