Luxurious home in a gated resort with covered lanai and pool, close to Disney

This house was perfect for our cousins vacations. The house was very cozy and homie, equipped with everything needed for a family vacation. Clean and very well-kept. Each family had their own bedroom suite with bathroom. Plenty of space to spread out with the 2 living rooms and gameroom. The kitchen was equipped with all the standard items needed to prepare meals. The gameroom and heated pool kept the kids entertained. The playground and clubhouse was just a short walk away. Perfect location - grocery stores & restaurants close by, including wal-mart. Easy access and short drive to Disney. The resort staff and property owner were all very friendly and process for booking was simple. We will definitely choose this house for our next vacation in this area.

Wonderful, large house located within an easy drive of many attractions. Room descriptions are accurate, and we found the layout perfect for our group of five adults and two kids. (Some of the beds are creaky, but we all still slept well.) In addition to the convenience of the en suite bathrooms and flat-screen TVs in each bedroom, the house had multiple areas for the kids to play -- two living areas, the game room, the covered outdoor space, and a large landing at the top of the stairs. The clubhouse is a short walk down the block, and we used the playground, heated pool, and sand volleyball court almost every day. A miniature golf course is currently being built. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Renting the house was extremely easy and the owner responded quickly to all inquiries. The house is close to a grocery store and a good Cuban restaurant. Many other restaurants, shops, and Orlando attractions such as Legoland are close by. We also appreciated that the house had kids items (if you have trouble finding the items, keep looking: we found the high chair in the laundry room, the stroller in the game room, and the pack-n-play in the closet of an upstairs bedroom). Great house in a great location and a wonderful value. We will definitely choose this house for future vacations.

I am so happy my family and I chose this home. It truly is your home away from home. We decided to stay here because my sister has a summer Florida home less than 1 mile away. We stayed at the house with my other sister and her 2 children, as well as our Mom. I myself have 2 children and found this home to be very spacious with room to spare! The kids loved the themed rooms and loved the idea of having a television in their rooms. All the adults had their own king or queen suites with own private bathroom which is very nice!
For most of the days we spent in Florida, we did many parks (5 in all) as well as shopping days at downtown Disney. The house was conveniently located and all Disney and Universal/Sea World parks are easily accessible. It was also nice to have the pool/hot tub in backyard for days we had no plans or nighttime swim!
Overall, we all were so happy with the rental...very clean, well maintained and great communication with the owners as well as Solana staff!!!
This was our first time using homeaway.com and our experience was a god one. We definetly would recommend this home and stay here again!
Tips:
We went in August and didn't request pool to be heated...although pool was good to go in, the hot tub never was "hot". If you really want to use the hot tub I would recommend getting pool heated.
Also, our kids are a little too young for the game room...there was a pool table with balls but no sticks found to play...wasn't a problem for our little ones but if you will use the game room ask about the sticks.
