The Who House, as we love to call her, is our very comfortable two story Victorian era home that has been recently upgraded and remodeled through a detailed historic and green restoration . There are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The first floor has the largest bedroom with a queen bed, double closets and a patio. The downstairs bathroom has an extra long claw foot tub with a separate shower. There is an adjacent laundry area. Also downstairs is the kitchen, a den room, and a large family gathering room that has the A/V system and the dining table which seats six very comfortably but could accommodate eight with additional chairs from the kitchen. Upstairs has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and T.V., and the other with two cozy twins. The upstairs bathroom has a soaking tub with marble floors.
The Who House is relaxing, quiet, convenient and secure. You’ll feel just plain old “tucked in” while staying in this 1890’s gem. It is an incredible getaway - relax on one of the three patios or in the yard and soak up the small town atmosphere with a backdrop of the Absaroka Mountain range and our famous Big Sky; have a casually elegant dinner party with the wonderful everyday or holiday tableware and fully equipped kitchen; sink into the super comfy wing back chairs with a drink and watch TV; enjoy watching the game, a movie or a cranking up the music with the internally wired surround sound system; have some quiet time in the den; get comfortable in one of the club chairs with your computer or a book and watch it snow on the Douglas fir tree through the patio door. If you are here in the summer and early fall, enjoy lazing around the garden, eating organic herbs and vegetables, and picnicking and sunbathing in the large, private, beautifully landscaped yard.
The house has everything needed for a perfect vacation. It is loaded with books, playing cards, and puzzles. There is a state of the art entertainment system, classical and jazz CD’s, and an iPod port – so bring your CD’s and DVD’s and iPods. There is also wireless high speed internet. There are plenty of pillows, down comforters, towels. In the kitchen, there are new appliances – a gas stove, dishwasher, along with pots, pans, silverware and culinary spices. Throughout the home is a delightful collection of original art, antiques and rugs.

I have been a resident of Livingston for 26 years, actually right next door. I raised my children here and it was a truly wonderful life for them. I am a Real Estate professional, textile artist and enjoy yoga, cooking, hiking, the hot springs and all the great things this area has to offer.
Gabriella Green purchased this house in 2007
I chose this house because of its close proximity to my house and with the creative desire to make it a wonderful property. My partner, Peter and I lovingly brought this home back to life over a several year period. This house really is a dream come true. I'm sure you will love it as much as we do.
This house is well insulated and fenced to be very private. It offers a large, beautifully landscaped yard with mature trees and organic gardens and a stunning mountain view for your outdoor entertaining fun.
Was visiting Livingston for fly fishing and was the house was located right downtown. We had access to the Yellowstone river just 5 mins away. Also was walking distance to a great steakhouse there. The house was very clean and had dinnerware and a grill. Made for an easy dinner for the night in. I'd definitely recommend this place and I'm sure to be back!
So glad we selected the WHO house. Lovely on many levels. Comfortable and tasteful furnishings, nice artwork, real silver and plenty of dishes for a big group. The kitchen is well equipped and everything works. And, the place was clean. We enjoyed the nice backyard for several family get-togethers. Gabriella, the owner, was tremendously responsive to our out of the ordinary requests for a teapot and cooking utensils to accommodate making pasta for our family visitors. She even brought over an extra picnic table. We will definitely rent again on our next visit to Livingston, which I hope is soon.
My family had a great time in Livingston, complemented by our stay at the Who House. We did not want for anything in the home, everything was provided; utensils, comfort, misc. spices, edible garden, peaceful surrounding, very well maintained home. We enjoyed Livingston, the train museum, the weekly farmer's market and the downtown convenience. A great time was had by my family.
We recently stayed in this house for 2 weeks....It was absolutely perfect for us..we were in walking distance of downtown, the post office, the library, close to other relatives too. So comfortable...Highly recommend!
My family stayed here while visiting relatives in Livingston. The location is excellent. The house is beautiful, comfortable, has everything you could need. Gabriella is wonderful! We would definitely stay here again!
I rented this great house for my visiting family from Florida and we all enjoyed it. The yard is an oasis. I would encourage you to rent this house. It is within walking distance of downtown, the Rodeo Grounds, the dog walking trail and the river. The beds are comfy and the attention to detail to rehab this lovely old house can be seen in all of the nooks and crannies! I would book this house again in a heart beat and the owner of the house is lovely!!
Historic Livingston is one of the last authentic Western towns in America. Enjoy all Livingston has to offer; great restaurants, art galleries, fun bars, two live theaters, live music and real friendly people. Then use it as a base to fly fish, hike, float, ski, kayak, and visit Yellowstone Park, Chico Hot Springs and Virginia City.
