Golf: Great courses nearby. We have Castle Rock Golf Course, which is about a 5 minute drive away. There is also a beautiful replica course 25 minutes north of our house, Castle at the Bay, located in Arkdale Wi. Check out some of the signature holes, really worth looking at! You can also enjoy courses in the Dells like Trappers Turn (Kalahari's Course) or Wild Rock Golf Course (Wilderness Lodge's Course). Although running anywhere from $60-$100 for 18, they are worth it.

Incredible weekend retreat

10 of us stayed here over the weekend of 5/17-5/19 and had an incredible time. From the moment we walked in to the home, we were completely blown away. This house is huge and has everything you need for a relaxing lake get away.

As I said, there were 10 of us and we all slept comfortably. There was more than enough room for everyone and between the incredible sound system, game room, or beautiful deck, entertainment wasn't a problem.

The first night we visited the Dirty Turtle bar and had a great time. This is such a fun place and the staff was great. We actually rented a pontoon boat from them the second day and toured around the lake. The nice thing about some of the bars in the area is that they have docks right on the lake, so bar hopping via boat was a good time.

In summary, beautiful house with great amenities, gorgeous area, and awesome owners. From the moment I requested more info about the home, the owner immediately responded and checked in with ideas of things to do etc. They also followed up with us upon our return.

Great Place!

This was a great place for me and my friends to spend the weekend! There were 8 of us from MN, WI, and IL- so this location was a perfect place to meet "in the middle." The house had a spacious kitchen and living room for all of us to gather. With a group our size it was also very nice to have 2 and 1/2 bathrooms. The house was clean, and well stocked with paper supplies, towels, hand soaps, garbage bags, cooking utensils, pots, pans, coffee pot etc. We had a great weekend relaxing and enjoying our friendship!! We hope to return again next year!

The ideal Lakehouse!

What an amazing place to stay at! This house is very well maintained, everything seems brand new! It sits on a quiet, beautiful section of the lake. The outside yard is setup with a great circle fire pit, and tons of chairs. We stayed here for our companies annual golf outing 8/10/12 - 8/12/12 and it was great. Quiet ad secluded yet easy driving distance from the dells. I will definitely be coming back this summer!

Good times!

My friend found this house after many days of searching. There were so many to choose from but this one caught his eye eventually.

We were a group of 9 people and the first thing we all noticed as we walked in was how clean this place was. It was like the cleaning crew took off just minutes before we got there. The house was really welcoming from the moment we stepped it. It was nice and toasty inside despite the cold outside. Everything in there seemed to be brand new, like the house was just remodeled. Spotless bathrooms, roomy bedrooms and a nice living room with an LCD TV and sound system. They even provided the cables we needed in order to hook up our equipment to the receiver.

Our bunch, we like to cook our own meals so we were thrilled to notice that the kitchen wasn't missing a thing, it was fully prepped and ready to use. On top of that, the gas grill we found in the garage was a great addition.

There is a lake right outside the house. It was stiff frozen now but I bet it's a lot of fun in summer.

We all had a great time during our stay and the thing we all agreed on was that we needed to make time to go back there one more time before winter was over. Very likely, we'll be up there is summer, as well.
I highly recommend this place. It's suitable for a larger group that likes to party or for a family getaway that wants to enjoy some peace and calm far away from the city. The owners are really nice and accommodating and they make it their goal to make everyone feel welcome in their house.

We spend our Christmass in this beautiful place . The house has all the amenities you need and the location right next to the water is great. It is very clean and well maintained.We had a good time skiing at Cascade Mountain which is only 40 miles away and for the summer vacation Wisconsin Dells is even closer. I'll be back in summer for a fishing trip on Castle Rock Lake. Joe, the owner was very nice and gave us all the details about the place, restaurants ,activities and directions to get there. It's really worth the money we paid.
