The facilities consist of 25 acres, fenced and cross fenced, a large garage/barn and a smaller barn. Plenty of room to park your RV, boat, horse trailer or camper. Horses are welcome in pastures and barn. OUTSIDE dogs are welcome in an enclosure.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, plenty of storage for clothing, and a private bath with large soaking tub plus more big windows for viewing the moon over the mountains. Tucked away in the closet is a stacked washer/dryer. Upstairs there is a large sitting area with a double futon, a second bath with shower and a private second bedroom with four twin beds. A small refrigerator is located in the sitting area for late night snacks of those sequestered there! Overflow guests will be comfortable on the recently added queen size convertible sofa in the living room!
Main floor and outdoor activities: The main floor is an open plan, inviting and comfortable for relaxing. It blends into the kitchen and dining so no one feels isolated from other guests. The kitchen is fully furnished with small appliances, utensils, linens and serving supplies for the appointed chef to use. Basics (salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, spices, and flour) are in cabinets for guests use.
HORSE BACK RIDING is super and the trails on the BLM between the property and the river are easy or challenging depending on your mood and no trailering required! Many trails have been GPS'ed and mapped for your convenience. Photo opportunities are endless so be sure and bring sturdy cameras for all your outdoors activities! The Colorado Trail may be accessed by trailering a short distance up the highway.
4 WHEELING in the area is another activity accessed from the property or via short drives to trail heads.
The surrounding area: Aspen Ridge is a favorite in fall and for the more daring, many trails over passes and to little ghost towns or nearby mountain towns are mapped for guests.
Winter brings the fun of SKIING both cross country and downhill. Nearby Monarch (18 mi.) is a family oriented ski mountain covered in all natural snow. To have an unforgettable experience on cross country skis, plan an evening event with friends over Old Monarch Pass in the moonlight. Pack along some hot chocolate or schnapps- and remember those cameras again!
FISHERMEN will delight in the Arkansas River which is famous for its trophy trout. Spring and the 'mayfly hatch' is favored by fly fishermen sporting waders and hats while scouting out the best holes to try out the newest equipment.
RIDE THE ROCKIES is an annual road biking event and frequently makes a stop in either Salida or Buena Vista.
