About Barbara Meadows
I currently manage the Farm and work partime off the farm in a clerical/accounting setting. I have two grown daughters one married with a daughter of her own and the other one just got married last September and is currently living & working in Fairfax , VA.
Barbara Meadows purchased this farmhouse in 1940
Why Barbara Meadows chose Massanutten
This is the Farm House that I grew up in. My brother and I both built log homes on the Farm and raised our children here as well.
We both have a lot of wonderful memories of growing up here on The Farm. My grandfather purchased the property in the late 30's, and it has remained in our family ever since.
What makes this farmhouse unique
Several years ago I did some remodeling on The Farm House. The view from the front porch is absolutetly beautiful of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This is a very private, and quiet farm setting. The House sits in the middle of our 60 acre farm up on a hill overlooking the the Town of McGaheysville. Our location is next to the Masanutten Ski & Water Park Resort, JMU, and the Shenandoah National Park.
