terrific owner, very comfortable though not beautiful
let me start off by saying bob, the owner, was wonderful and extremely responsive to all of our needs. for us, that is paramount and probably worth another stay.
as for the condo itself: we typically stay in very beautiful condos and houses for our ski vacations. this was not one of them. it was outdated and well...just a bit drab. it was somewhat disappointing (at least for the women, not so much for the guys) when we first walked in as it was not particularly lovely as we are used to. however, as the week went on, we grew quite comfortable here and even my typically fussy mother commented on how comfortable she was. the kitchen, always a hugely important part for us, was indeed a cook's kitchen. we were not lacking in cookware or utensils, and were even pleasantly surprised at some unexpected items.
there are 2 separate bedrooms and 2 separate bathrooms, which was terrific and exactly as advertised. the beds are indeed quite comfortable, as bob said he had received in feedback. we slept great. not much of a view from either bedroom, and one of the bedrooms doesn't have a window at all (much to my folks' disdain).
the living room was very comfortable with the fireplace, dimmed lighting and TV/stereo. eventually we figured out how to turn on the A/V system and the fireplace, but it took a bit. would be helpful to have a book on the living room table with all the info you might want when you walk into a home for the first time (i think we eventually found some info on the fridge).
although it's fairly walkable to lionshead, the shuttle into town is the real convenience here. you can walk out the front door and be at the shuttle stop in 60 seconds. although we did not find the condo beautiful, it was absolutely comfortable, had great details, excellent rates and a fantastic owner. would stay again.

I had thought the details on the fridge and on the entertainment center would suffice as guides, but I'll add a book on the counter as well. I would like to clarify one point in your review in that both bedrooms do indeed have windows. With the bedrooms being on opposite sides of the condo, only one has the mountain view while the other faces the pool. Thanks again for enjoying your stay.
