I was introduced to Taos Ski Valley’s world class skiing in 1972 and immediately fell in love with Taos Mountain and the surrounding region. For decades, the magic of Taos Ski Valley drew me back here year after year and, with each visit, I felt more at home, experiencing those “ahhh” moments in the “Land of Enchantment”. For me, the condo is truly a refuge from the hectic everyday pace and I enjoy lounging in the living room or on the balcony soaking in the majestic mountain views just as much as I enjoy the many outdoor activities all year long.
We visit as often as we can to experience the unique magic of each season. My daughter started skiing at Taos at age 3 and, over the past 9 years, has loved meeting new kids and improving her ski skills through the Taos Ski Valley Ski School. We also visit every summer when she participates in the Field Institute of Taos Summer Camp and when we escape from the summer heat and humidity to rejuvenate ourselves with clean mountain air, brilliantly sunny skies and comfortable surroundings.

Quite simply, I chose Taos Ski Valley because there is no other place like it in the world!
I have skied most of the big-name resorts in the US and Europe and nothing comes close to Taos’s casual charm, great variety of skiing terrain and authentic Southwest ambiance. With Taos Ski Valley, you get real people, real skiing and real value for your money! With easy access to the lifts, no lift lines and great skiing, we enjoy our winter vacations here as well as our summer visits when savor pleasantly warm days and cool evenings (no air conditioning is needed!) and enjoy tennis, river rafting, golfing, hiking, hot air ballooning, exploring the area’s many museums, galleries and pueblos and much more!

Our visit to Taos Ski Valley was Feb 26 - March 1. We skied in 21 inches of powder. The most fun skiing in 20 years. We were in the condo with one other couple, arriving at 6:00pm
We stopped at the market on the way in to pick up a few things for dinner. I had to empty the dishwasher before we ate to have dishes to set the table. Then found dirty coffee cups with dripping coffee drops in the cabinet. Then time to unpack, there was dirt in the dresser drawer. Really...
We use VRBO.com 4-5 times a year for the past 9 years this is the second time I have written a negative review. I will continue to use VRBO. I will not stay in the condo again.
We are a family of two adults and two young teenagers. This condo is absolutely fantastic. Pictures are great and accurate. The condo easily sleeps two families with kids and is clean and modern plus a great view. Really close to the main base lodge, rentals and lifts. The ski school for the kids is the best we have experienced. Great skiing for all levels. This is a down to earth ski resort with great snow, great views, great weather and trails. Completely different from the crowded slopes on the East Coast. We also took a day trip into Taos and Santa Fe. Easy drives from the ski valley. Try Michaels in Taos for breakfast on your way into Santa Fe and don't forget to check the bridge over the Rio Grande - 650 feet straight down!
We truly recommend this place and we will be back.
We had a wonderful week staying in this beautifully furnished condo in TSV. We enjoyed the breathtaking scenery, hiking to Williams Lake, very friendly people in the village and some great food at "Stray Dog!" It's just a short drive into Taos, where we enjoyed more good food, toured the Taos Pueblo village, and saw beautiful southwestern artwork all around us. Arroyo Seco, on the mountain between Taos and TSV is another small village that is a must see. What a great time of year to visit - we enjoyed warm days and cool evenings. It was Chili season and we were delighted to grab a bushel of freshly roasted chilies to bring home! The condo was very comfortable, warm and inviting, which made it a great place to come back to. We would definitely do this again!
I joined some girlfriends for a spring weekend escape and had a great time exploring the area. This was my first trip to Taos Ski Valley and I just loved the casual atmosphere, friendly people, mountain views, fun things to do and the Southwest decor and furnishings in this beautifully decorated and comfortable condo really added to a wonderful experience. The condo is a short drive from the historic town of Taos where we did a lot of shopping and tried some of the many great restauratns. We also did a spa day that was very relaxing and a lot of fun. I am looking forward to coming back in the winter to ski as the condo is just a couple of minutes walk to the main lift - great location!
· Had a really fun weekend with some friends staying at this condo in mid-May. The spring weather was beautiful – warm days and cool nights, just right for casual hikes around the ski valley and exploring the galleries and shops in town. Had been to Taos before but staying in this mountain condo was a really special experience—fabulous views, refreshing air – making for a truly relaxing “getaway” from my usual city life. The condo was spacious and very comfortable. We did some cooking and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything that we needed and we also checked out some of the local restaurants as well. I would highly recommend staying here!
We spent 5 days in this awesome condo. Located so close to the ski lift..everything was walkable. It easily fit my family of 4 PLUS another family of 3....with some space to spare. The skiing was great for all levels of skiers...basic to advanced. The ski school was wonderful for the kids. The kitchen and bathrooms were new and the property was clean and well maintained. There was satellite TV, so the kids were entertained in the evening. Make sure to shop for food before coming up the mountain. We recommend Doc Martins as a great place to eat in downtown Taos. Photos are accurate.
Only minutes away by car to the charming artists' village of Arroyo Seco and to the famous Taos Pueblo and the historic town of Taos.
