Our Beach Cottage is adjacent to our personal home of over 30 years on Staniel Cay. Still a small 'out island', Staniel cay's village atmosphere of small shops, stores, church, dining spots, yacht club and docks, and some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet will make for a very special vacation experience. Fishing and diving can be world class. Including the numerous surrounding islands and cays, you can swim with pigs, snorkel in the famous James Bond 'Thunderball Cave', visit Iguanas on a deserted island, dine at a 5 star resort, take a boat ride to the 'Exuma Land and Sea park' where the beach combing and snorkeling is fantastic, or just relax on the many surrounding unspoiled beaches.

The Cottage is just a little over 2 years old and perfect for the couple wanting to get away for a while. Described as cozy and comfortable, with an outstanding location with views, it even has use of a private dock 50 meters down the sand beach.

Contact Nikki Ferguson, the on island manager for all your needs (golf cart and boat rentals, fishing outings, etc.). She will see you are met upon arrival and transported to the Beach Cottage, as well as making sure you get back to the airport on departure day.

The Beach Cottage is located on the south eastern side of Staniel Cay, Exuma. It sits about 50 feet from the waters edge, overlooking a spectacular protected bay with waters of every color blue known. Beach comb, swim, snorkel, fish, etc., right out the door. The Cottage is approx 1 kilometer from a small island 'village' where dining and activities can be had, making it very quiet and private.

Notes: This is a small Get-A-Way Cottage with a full kitchen w/ apt.. size appliances. It is completely furnished with all the basic items including linens. Wireless phone service is available with the purchase of a phone card from Nikki...wireless internet is available on site most of the time...T V is by satellite. A golf cart can be rented if necessary, two bikes have been provided which can easily get you around the island. The quiet, almost private setting, provides you the option of just hanging out and swimming to a nearby small island, or reading on the afternoon shaded deck. The adventurous can kayak around the island AFTER learning about the local currents and tides.

My girlfriend and I spent 5 nights down in Staniel. Ran the boat down from Jupiter. Everyone said how amazing the Exumas are but until you get there no picture does it justice. The cottage is the perfect size for two people and is on a secluded little cove on the south end of the cottage. Sunrise every morning on the front porch and sitting on the porch in the evening with the cottage blocking the sun is the best. Very quiet on this end of the island and not much going on around. The bikes are alot of fun and are more than adequate to see the whole island. Perfect place to get away from everything. Nikki is always a phone call or email away which the house has wifi so you can still stay connected if you want. Dock was great and could see fish swimming and was able to moor a boat there with a shallow draft. Definately coming back again. By far our best trip to the islands.

thank you sierra for an ‘E’ ticket vacation tour. WOW the sights were amazing…the caves thunderball and iguanas tooo fun. so much to see and enjoy, explore. cant wait till next trip to finish it all. Outstanding accomidations. The Cottage is just as it sounds. charming,clean,quiet and comfy. Perfect vacation getaway. We didnt want for anything, everything necessary was provided and available for us!Anyone whos looking for a relaxing,hassel free getaway…check it out. Beautiful and tropical scenery. Also enjoy a bike ride into town to visit and experience the friendly island charm and shops..we did and had a blast again a+ vacation.

My husband and I spent three weeks on Staniel Cay and cannot wait to return. We stayed at the Beach Cottage and couldn’t be more happy. It was sparkling clean, the kitchen had anything you could ask for. Amazing views and beautiful artwork all around. The property is surrounded by luscious flowers and sits right on the water.
We were very impressed with Nikki’s services. It was our first time on Staniel Cay (definitely not the last), and she made us feel right at home. When we needed assistance, she went out of her way to help. We will never forget her attention and her kindness.
