Not set up for a VRBO
This house was not set up to be a VRBO. We arrived at 2am and there was no water to the house. We had to look around to figure out where to turn the water back on. The thermostats did not work so we had no way to control the temperature. The AC unit was broken and had to be replaced. The next day one of us was taking a shower and the faucet broke and we had no way to turn the faucet off so we had to turn the water to the house off again. Host was responsive but it took all day to get the faucet fixed. The kitchen only had some silverware, crappy cups and pots, 1 knife that had the handle breaking off. There was no toaster, no bowls, no pans, no spatulas or any type of cooking utensils. There were not enough towels or blankets. There were no garbage cans. No rugs in the bathrooms. The beds were pretty unstable and uncomfortable. There is no door handle on one of the bedrooms (he never got this fixed). There was no backyard furniture and the backyard is just rocks. Again, the host was responsive and he eventually did get most of the items we requested however it took a few days. He also bought the cheapest stuff possible. We requested dishwasher detergent and he brought us dish soap. There were 2 days with either plumbers or HVAC repairmen in the house. We let him know we were frustrated and disappointed in our experience and that we were expecting some type of refund but he stopped responding after that. Would never recommend staying at one of Ona's properties.
