This is a great house in an ideal location. The house is fully equipped with everything you need for a great vacation or getaway. The bedrooms are all very comfortable, all bedding is provided, plenty of towels and extra blankets and pillows, very nice furnishings throughout. the 1st floor BR is large with a queen bed, the second floor has 4 BRs, one with a Queen bed and spectacular bay view, another with 2 twin beds and a nice waterview, another has a full size bed with a limited view, and the smallest has a single twin bed. The Living has a terrific view of the bay, fireplace, 2 couches, a loveseat, recliner and big rocking chair. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove, lg refrigerator, dishwasher, double sink, micro, coffee maker, toaster oven, plenty of pots, pans, dishes, cups,glasses, paper products, even condiments and spices. The first floor bathroom has a stall shower the second floor bath has a tub, the outdoor enclosed shower has a dressing area and h&c water.
About our yard and street: Our house is located at the end of a private road in a small private community, located directly on Shinnecock Bay. Theres room to park up to 4 cars in our yard, There are 4 other houses located on the road, there is an beach and a small salt pond also in the community available for everyones use. Our house also has a seperate private beach area. We have a 14' rowboat and a kayak at the house as well as numerous floats, boogie boards, life jackets, sand toys and general beach house items. We have a large gas grill and a weber charcoal bbg with an electric starter, picnic table, numerous beach and patio chairs and lounges. Small camp fires are allowed on our private beach in the fire pit.
Whats close to the house: We are in a prime location, between the Villages of Hampton Bays and Southampton. There are 5 places to eat within walking distance, including the Hampton Maid Coffee shop across the street which has an excellent breakfast & brunch, Tiderunners Bar and Restaurant and the new Cowfish Bar and Restaurant on the Shinnecock Canal which are very popular, 2 other restaurants and the Beach Hut for burgers and seafood baskets at the Peconic Bay public beach also near the Canal. We are only 10 minutes, 5 miles to a beautiful public ocean beach, and the very scenic and interesting Shinnecock Inlet that connects our Shinnecock Bay to the Atlantic Ocean.
Hampton Bays Village is less than 2 miles west, has every type of store and restaurant, 3 supermarkets,multiplex movie, Dept stores, boutiques, antiques, salons, delis, laudromats etc,etc.
Southampton Village is less than 5 miles east has everything Hampton Bays has, plus it's 'Southampton' with all the Glitz, Glamour, Mansions (cottages), beautiful people, etc,etc.
