Enjoy sitting on the large deck in the morning and evenings without the very hot and bright Sun at 7500ft in our Mountain Chalet for your Home away from Home. The 3 bedrooms all have their private baths with tub and shower.
We have had three vacation homes in Ruidoso. When we built this one recently, we feel like we have thought of everything to make it comfortable and relaxing for us and our guests.
The main summer gathering place is the 12 X 34 deck which is protected from the Sun and Glare, so you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Forest and Capitan Mountain. There is also a lower 12 X 34 Patio that can be enjoyed if your guests want some quiet time for themselves.
The lower 2 bedrooms with private baths can be entered from the ground level. Guests can unload easily and then come up inside stairs to the main living area.
I could go on and on about our beloved Ruidoso-We hope you fall in love with it too.....
Additional Information: The main living area includes Master Bedroom, Bath, Kitchen, dining room and Living room with the large deck too. There is also a utility room, powder room and attached Garage. This enables you to drive to this level and unload groceries, the master bedroom guests belongings, etc.
The Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking with grill, waffle iron, and all necessary items for a feast. There is small refrigerator in the bar area, perfect for your drinks.
A outside gas grill is on the deck and an outdoor electric smoker that can be used outside of the garage.
All the furniture in the house is NEW and was bought when the house was built.
All the Queen Mattress sets are new and of the highest quality and very comfortable.
Area Info: Summer actives are Hiking, Fishing, Picnics, Spencer Theatre, Horse Racing, Art Shows, Shopping, and dining out but most enjoyable is our Deck.
In the Fall there are beautiful Aspens changing. We love to go the the Cowboy Symposium (2nd weekend in October).
Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's are all beautiful Winter times in Ruidoso watching for first Snow. During this time you can Ski, Snowboard, Tube, Snowmobile, and visit Bosque del Apache (over 100,000 birds), etc. Other nearby day trips include White Sands, Petroglyphs, Mal Paiz, Lincoln-Billy the Kid, etc.
Winter area info: We are only about 1 mile from the Ski Apache Rd to the Ski lifts and Runs. You can enjoy many hours of fun just doing your thing at the top of the mountain with snow every where..........After skiing there are three casinos for more fun and of course the downtown shopping area. Don't forget the great restaurants for you best meals.........
