Fully loaded with wireless internet and Ipod docking stations, the home also boasts high quality appliances in a spacious kitchen, with a cozy wood-burning fireplace, and luxurious bedrooms, made convenient by the automatic one-car garage during ski season. The new hot-tub and al fresco dining table on the back patio under the stars and nestled under Empire Canyon pines is amazing on warm summer nights. About The Owner

My wife and I are former Park City residents, where 2 of our 3 children were born. 5 years ago, we returned to the Bay Area, with an eye toward having a special place to call home when we return to Park City, which we do multiple times each year. In 2011, that became a reality.

Why The Owner chose Old Town

This property is a magical little property for our family. When we first moved to Park City in 2000, we actually rented this property on a long-term basis. We used to love hiking and snow-shoeing out the front door, and used to love the lazy afternoons watching the hikers, skiers and mountain bikers ride past to access some of the great trails in the area. We also loved the strolls down to Main Street for morning coffee or for amazing dinners. When we saw the house come on the market in 2011, after years of keeping an eye on Park City real estate, it was so serendipitous, it was just meant to me.

What makes this house unique

What we love most about the house is its location and its charm. Located about half way up Daly Avenue, at the top of Main Street, you have the benefit of being just a short stroll down to Main Street, but you are also nestled among the pines and aspens of Empire Canyon. This is truly unique to Old Town. As for the home, it has it all. It has a cozy living area, kept warm by wood fire burning fireplace for the winter, and a back patio with a hot tub and barbecue and dining table for al fresco dining in the summer. As the the floor plan it is ideal for 1 or 2 families with kids, where the sleeping arrangements and floor plan are ideal for entertaining or just chilling out after a great day of skiing or hiking or whatever Park City has to offer.

Had a wonderful time in this charming home. Proximity was perfect just a block or so above main street, perfectly quit yet walking distance to Main street and all the trails above. Home was clean as was the Hot tub, nice grilling area on the rear patio and fantastic friendly neighbors. I will certainly contact them again next year for another stay Thanks.

Our daughter made arrangements for us to stay close to Main Street in Old Town. We didn't know what to expect. What a treat! The house is so comfortable and clean. We loved being close to town, yet it is so quiet and cozy. Morning coffee on the back deck nestled right up against the mountain was lovely. Very private and quaint. We will definitely stay again when we come back to Park City.

Home sits right above main street close to trail heads, dining, night life, and skiing. It is old park city charm at its finest. We have been going to park city for years and this has been our favorite place to stay, thus far. The house is clean, spacious and newly furnished. The grill and hot tub in the backyard made a great spot to entertain and relax with friends. Can't wait to return next year. Highly recommend to all!!

Our group stayed here during the Sundance Film Festival. It was the perfect location, just at the top of Main Street in the heart of all the action! The management team was excellent. They were extremely accommodating in meeting all of our needs. The house was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Everyone had a wonderful time and we would definitely stay here again next year.
