THE 'CASA' TROPICAL RETREAT-POOL/ NEAR THE BEACH-

What a neat home! It was sparkling clean when we arrived. A big basket of fresh fruit on the counter and a vase full of fresh flowers. What a welcome. We did not eat at home a lot as we were visiting a lot of friends who live in the area, but all the comforts of home await. It was a little too cool to use the pool, but it looked sparkling clean. It reminded me of a home that I rented in Puerto Rico...lots of Spanish influence. The area was wonderful as we walked every morning and it is remote and quiet even tho it is very near the Mercado Shopping Center. My only recommendation would be to get a couple of screens on the bedroom windows so when it is cool at night we could open the windows for fresh air. Clara, the owner, could not have been nicer. You truly feel right at home.

We loved this house! Our stay was so comfortable. The house was decorated in a way that made you feel like you were home. Our children loved the pool and hot tub. We also loved the location. The neighborhood was great for walking and close to restaurants and the beach. Clara was wonderful to deal with! Overall, it was one of the best places we've ever rented. We've already booked our stay for next year!

First let me start by saying I have stayed in many rental homes in the past and this was by far the best. My two Daughters, my Wife and I all enjoyed our stay here at the Casa. Our Bedroom was at one end of the house and our kids was at the other end,our kids liked to sleep later than us so this was perfect as we did not wake each other up. The Casa was very clean and had all the amenities needed to cook at home. The Pool was beautiful and private and surrounded by lush tropical plants. I want to especially note how nice and friendly the owner Clara was, we arrived late after midnight the first night and did not see her but she checked in with us the next day to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted to let us know if we had any questions to please let her know. We also loved the Fresh fruit basket that Clara had prepared and was awaiting us when we arrived. We truly enjoyed the Fresh fruit at the beach everyday. The Casa is located only about a mile from Vanderbilt Beach so it was very easy to go to the beach each day. It is also located very close to all stores and restaurants however with the location so close to everything the Neighborhood was very very quite and wooded, homes were spaced very far apart. At night all you heard were the sounds of Tree Frogs and crickets while swimming in the lighted pool. The neighborhood was very safe and peaceful, my Family and I went for walks around the neighborhood many nights and it was very enjoyable. I just want to say if your looking for a Clean, Quite and relaxing place to stay that is close to everything then this is the place. Clara checked on us again in the middle of our weeks stay to make sure we were happy and she is such a delight we enjoyed when we did see her. Thanks again Clara!
