Very convenient and quiet townhouse, 2 bedrooms with queen beds and 2 attached full baths. Has a half bath downstairs just off the kitchen. Fully appointed kitchen with microwave and dishwasher. Laundry upstairs with washer and dryer. Lovely fireplace with electric log insert for chilly nights. Separate dining room with room for 4. Comfortable living room with fireplace and large sofa and loveseat and easy chair. All rooms sunny and bright with many windows. Nice front patio area with seating and swing. Close to downtown Charleston only 15 minutes and 15 minutes to the beach at Sullivan's island. Salt water pool an easy 5 minutes walk in regime. Barbecue grill outside kitchen side door. Close to everything!
In looking for this condo to refer a friend, I just realized I never wrote a review. My husband, myself & our grown son stayed 3 nights to attend a wedding at I'On. Perfect place to be & convenient to the wedding venue & other activities. Very comfortable condo and as described. Owner was very easy to work with and helpful. Great value. Highly recommend. Loved the art work in the condo.
This is a great townhouse, with a good amount of room for 4 people. The location is excellent, both a 15 minute drive to downtown Charleston, and a 10 minute drive to Sullivan's Island. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, and the living room was cozy.
The pictures don't do this home justice. It's a warm, cozy, clean place in a lovely little neighborhood, incredibly convenient to downtown Charleston. Rte 17 is nearby, and it'll lead you to the downtown in a flash. Diana, the owner, is accommodating and very easy to deal with. The price is right, too, and our dog--who loved the place, by the way-- stayed with us at no extra cost. Stop first at the Charleston visitor center. Parking on their lot is very reasoable. There you can pick up the free trolley which loops the downtown. Strolls through the area are a must, with a surprise at every turn. On Market Street, opposite the City Market, is the Peanut Store, with yummy samples galore. When leaving town, a couple miles north of the visitor center is Ike's. with Gullah food to die for. There's a free lot to park on, and the food was so good that we bought more the night before we left, froze it, and took it all back in a cooler to PA the next day--scrumptious deviled crab. red rice, collard greens, she-crab soup, and okra soup. And the owners are gracious and charming. Also worth visiting are Sweetgrass in the Crowne Point Hotel near the Tanger Outlets, for its shrimp and grits and its catfish. Plus Michaelangelo's on Sam Rittenburg Blvd, where the desserts are incredible. Fort Sumter is a must, as is the Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, where the emphasis is not on trees and flowers but its slave history. including slave quarters you can self-tour. And if you're a movie buff, you must drive Miss Daisy a half hour to the Otranto section of North Charleston, where you can shop at the last Piggly Wiggly in the area . All in all a wonderful vacation in Charleston/Mount Pleasant, for which proper due must be given to this great place to stay.
We stayed two nights and were very pleased. The condo is as described. It was clean, nicely furnished, and very convenient to downtown Charleston and surrounding area. It was quite comfortable for four adults. A bargain for the price.
We came to Charleston to attend a wedding and were looking for a place to stay that would be close to everything and not cost us a fortune. This condo fit the bill - it was not extravagent, but quite comfortable. There were three adults in our party, and this condo was more than large enough. The two bedrooms were a good size and each had a bathroom/shower. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels, sheets, blankets, pillows etc. The kitchen had all the necessary items. Newer refrigerator, stove and DW although the dishwasher needs a repair. The TV was smaller, but adequate. There was a DVD player as well as Roku and WiFi. Overall, the furnishings were average, but comfortable and clean. We would stay here again.
