We like the Inner Richmond neighborhood for its public transportation access to anywhere in the city. It is safe, quiet and friendly, with many families. Our building is very convenient to shopping, dining and the park.
We walk or ride our bicycles in Golden Gate Park, and we have our favorite restaurants and coffee shops nearby. This is a great neighborhood for walking, cycling and exploring!
The hosts, Jim and Carol Aldrich, are wonderful and the apartment is very clean, comfortable and in a great location for easy access to the rest of the city by car or public transportation. We could not ask for a better place to stay.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We didn't cook but could have and the closeness to a local Safeway made it easy to supply our breakfasts. We found the closeness to Golden Gate Park (1 block) and the De Young Museum a real plus. The shops and restaurants in the area are terrific. The ease of using the buses on Fulton and Geary made getting downtown easy. Even though the apartment isn't modern it has everything you need. At the end of our busy days the spacious living room and comfortable bed let us recharge for another great day in San Francisco.
