Villa California was purchased after many trips to the Caribbean, we decided to purchase after we spent a couple weeks in the villa and were close to town, could hear the ocean and felt secure, enjoyed the privacy, all the fruit trees, the private pool and the sound of the ocean.

What a fantastic vacation we just had! Three couples stayed in this location and had plenty of room and privacy. The house is well equipped and whether we were playing cards, having cocktails or eating in we were all very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and the pool was wonderful for the days we stayed in. There are a number of restaurants (Bologna) and beaches in the area to go and explore or just relax and wiggle your toes in the sand. We highly recommend this spot for your next tropical getaway.

Perfect Vacation..... Nice private gated home with private pool and all the amenities needed (Peek a boo view of the Ocean) . We had 3 couples in our party, all of us had our own space to relax and enjoy. Close to beautiful beaches, Shopping, Zip lining, Monkey Jungle, Kite Surfing in Caberete. Many wonderful restaurants with fabulous food and great views, perfect for any budget :)

I just returned from my stay in Villa California in Sosua. We really had a wonderful time and the property is nothing but outstanding. The property manager was always very responsive to any of our needs with respect to the villa. A cleaning service was provided twice a week and the pool was cleaned and treated on a daily basis. Internet was excellent. The villa is located in a very quiet part of town and I never felt unsafe in the neighborhood. But, a security guard service was offered if I wanted to have one at night, which I refused. I rented a car and I personally thought that it was a good decision to do so given the distance to the supermarkets and to the center of the town. However, you could do just as well using the many taxi-motorcycles that are available in the town. My only recommendation to the owner of the property is to install a switch to the swimming light that is easily accessible to the guests. I will definitely return in the future.
