Great Stay during the Holidays!
Location, location , location, this is a beautiful home with great character and a true gem for anyone just wanting to enjoy a quiet weekend with an amazing view. We have rented many large homes in the pasts but this is our favorite to date, it felt like our home. We had a party of 7 close friends and our dog Murphy, we had a wonderful experience this last New Year week. The house is in the Montecito Hills and has stunning views of Santa Barbara and Montecito surrounding areas. The views can be seen from almost every room in the house, including the 3 bedrooms, the dining area, family room and the living room. The high floor-to-ceiling windows are consistent along the entire frontage of the home, which allows you to get see the views at all times during the day and night. This is a very spacious home and most rooms have individual bathrooms, only two bedrooms share a spacious and upgraded bathroom, the massive master bedroom has his and her bathrooms (pretty unusual but cool). The kitchen is very functional and has plenty of areas for cooking, we all love to cook and we had plenty of space to move around and make dinner and had every supply needed. The backyard offers ample space for lounging and sunbathing and the heated pool was great for a swim. You are only a few minutes away by car from downtown Montecito or Santa Barbara for shopping and a number of restaurants. The area surrounding the home is very quiet and we met many friendly neighbors when walking Murphy our dog each morning. Pat the owner was great host and we hope to return soon. I highly recommend this home to anyone, you will enjoy your stay!
